I guess some people suck so much that they have to hack to simply get points like the rest of us so they can feel equal.

Actually they don't get points. When there is a commander he'll get the kills, but when there isn't it just says, "XXXXX is no more."

Yeah that's true. Still, it makes getting combat badges and the like waaay too easy but more importantly it affects the game experience for others in a very negative manner.
