Given that it's far easier to get a kill in a vehicle, and far harder to get killed, why do vehicle kills get the same point weight? I am tired of seeing all the spawn camping LAVs and tanks driven by talentless idiots who don't even know to get out of their vehicle when it's on fire.
Additionally, as it stands, it's fairly abnormal to see an infantry only player actually get on the scoreboard. A helo or a tanker is almost always number 1. Given that the commander usually takes a high spot on there too, an infantry only person has to get almost as many kills as an armor or helo player simply to get a medal.
Since I am obviously writing this from a personal experience, I've gotten 4th place atleast half the games I've played in the last two days. It usually goes in this order: Tanker in first, 2nd and 3rd are either a helo or lav player (depending on if there is a helo) or the commander, and then me. I've almost given up using the shotgun because I even if I get 25 kills in a round, it's not enough. I have to play a medic just to get the 25 kills plus a ton of teamwork points to beat the tanker.
Given that I have to bust my ass just to get in the ranks and armor players just have to hang back and try not to get too engaged but just spawn camp or shoot from a distance, or helo pilots just have to circle camp a spawn, why are the rewards unequal with regards to skill? And isn't that what the point system is supposed to reward?
