Peeps who dump good vehicles.

I have noticed lately alot of people will leave perfectly good vehicles dumped so they can persue they own goal what ever that may be.

In the team aspect of the game, leaving a vehicle dumped somewhere only deny's your team mates from using it.

A good example is karkand. The US jeep is often dumped somewhere. Then the bodies mill about at the uncap flag waiting for it to blow up somwhere in the distance so it can respawn in slow time.

It doesn't hurt to chuck a nade or two in the back of it. Uderstandable i suppose if your trying to be sneaky. But no harm otherwise.

Just something to think about.. If you dont need it anymore try and destroy it or at least helpit on its way..

I am AT so I usually put a rocket into a jeep or boat that I get out of so that it will respawn for somebody else to use.

I can't stand it when your team is losing, you only have 1 flag, and all of the vehicles are empty and strewn about the map....it can easily become the reason your team eventually loses.

The worst is Wake, at the Chinese main base. Everyone grabs the jeep between the two building and heads for the airstrip.

It's true im sick of people hopping the buggy and not picking anyone up, its ignorant, what so hard about helping your team, I do and I always pick my team up, not just for being generous but for backup capping flags. I spotted someone before do it with 1 buggy on Wake they wanted to bomb up on there own while my teams calling for a ride, I fired the AT missile into him when he was driving away, teamkill yes... but the buggy spawned again and we could all go up and capp the flag.

btw Talus how does that 7900GTX 512MB look in games, go screenshots?

To be fair, sometimes I'll grab a vehicle as squad leader with the plan for my squad to spawn inside...so sometimes it'll look like I'm taking off solo.

So check and see if the guy taking off solo is a squad leader before you cuss him out .. and heck, if his squad is unlocked, join in!

what ****es me off is, u get a sniper who will get into a chopper fly off & bail out to his destination, yet we have 6 ppl at base just waited for him to gives us a ride, w-ankers.

the worst is when they grab the tank to drive to the plane and leaves it there, then someone comes from south point/base with a car, or are already hiding behind the concrete bunker at the south end of the airstrip and wreaks havoc on the airfield

im one of those people who love seeing the tank in the open when approaching the airfield from the west end, its like a golden nugget

Yea, I always blow up my vehicles so others can use it. My BIGGEST pet peeve is when people take the blackhawk solo and leave the whole team sitting there.

I agree 100%, alot of times if you aren't using a vehicle do what the thread starter mentioned, toss a nade at the humvee, it helps your teammates out and if you die it could help you out too...

It can be a sneaky way as well cos when you blow it up, it doesn't appear anymore as an empty vehicle on the map which may betray your postion or route.

Yes I hate people like that who just waste vehicles, even if its seems useless like a buggy, only reason to dump a vehicle if its on fire or you want to be stealth, the time I dump vehicles is on Sharq. peninsula. You are MEC and want to take over the TV station by the route on the back of the boat, i destroy the boat once we land.

I had some guy get totally ticked with me for snagging a buggy and booting it away, intentionally leaving him behind. What he didn't know was I was on voice with my squad and knew I'd be having a couple spawn-ins in a couple seconds.

Watching lonewolves take off alone in anything with wheels is annoying, tho.

Oh, and let's not forget the shmucks that jump into your jeep and drives off while you are manning the .50 waiting for that attackchopper to show up.

Makes me say rude things.

yea, or a guy that steals your jeep as ur putting c4s on it to kill a tank and/or apc...

ive had a guy on sharqi, take our only attack heli, so he can land it on the roof of the hotel, so he can snipe....of course there was no passenger, and he didnt blow it up.....

i dont know the big deal i abandon the jeep to cap the base. i will try and throw a gernade but they blow up by themselfs so whats the big deal

works both ways, the sniper wanted to go somewhere to snipe, if he wasnt the pilot, whats the chances of him getting to his destination? slim because the pillock flying would fly to a flag and be shot down on the way getting everyone killed.
if the sniper took the chopper by himself, how could 5 others be waiting for it? did you suddenly decide you want to go in it 2mins after it took off ?

you have maybe 10seconds after the pilot got in to get in it else wait for it to respawn, dont expect it to land again because players couldnt be arsed to get there in time....
