as much as i like battlefield, i think QWET will pwn.

quake has always been about the netcode.
frankly, the bf netcode sucks.
patching and suppor on bf sux.
come on whats up with bf2142????
finish bf before you move on to something else.

QWET has potential.. maybe i can do jet formations which has been impossible on bf with the 2 planes per team that they give you.

to honest, i miss HL team fortress...that was the game that started it all.
i remember the intense sniper battles on dial up.

i hope something , whether it would be crysis, quake wars, or whatever will put the FUN back into the game, as it had on team fortress.

Valve should have released a HL multiplayer source edition with a bunch of upgrades instead of the complete disappointment CS:S and the even worse HL2M.

I severely doubt that.

Just take a look at how their in-match rank system works. You kill someone and you can upgrade your gun. Then you can kill faster, so you kill another guy then you up your armour. Now, you are hardier and killier.

Repeat for 20 minutes.

Enter a new player, he's stuck with the basic weapons. Player 1 has some sort of nuclear reaper autocannon, and the player 2 be lucky if he had a pea-shooter.

Where's the fun in battling someone, where everytime they kill you, they get HARDER to kill? BF2 at least relies on some relic of skill. A spec-ops can kill a sniper, if he's good with his rifle.

For that reason alone (or until I'm shown otherwise) I will not be buying QW. It's safe from me.

There is no buying system in ET:QW and even if there was there wouldnt be any "nuclear pirahnas"

therefore your entire post can emedieatly be disregarded as cow crap.
