I guess it's not surprising that pilots don't target the assets that often, because a kill is worth two points when an asset is only one. Especially when the odds of taking out multiple targets in flag zones and bottleneck areas.

What happened to me once on FuShe Pass was very memorable. The pilot kept taking out the PLA arty, so I went over to repair it. He was a crafty one though, and noticed when it was repaired, as the yellow asset destroyed icon leaves the HUD. So he timed it well, and came in for another bombing run as I was repairing it, getting the asset and me, so three points. Not bad thinking on his part. In the end I repaired the arty, then drove a little out the way to cover, he bombed, then I repaired again and took cover again. He soon lost interest when he knew I figured him out

The funny thing is, you didn't get any points for blowing assets back then.

Your right on that part, but I still did it, especially once the game was out on retail and I was playing in league matches. I did get points on it often in the demo, not from blowing it up though, but from bombing them as soon as I saw them come up, half the time the commander or some other helpful teammate was still standing there repairing it

Sometimes I could blow up an asset with 1 bomb I guess it was damaged than... btw I destroy them if there is no better target at hand or I have a lot of TKs

I usually go after their scan and uav trailer the most, arty isn't as effective because you can't scan first to see where the large clumps of the other team are, you just have to manually look at changing flags and scroll around by hand if you want to blast them. It's kind of like poking someone in the eyes, you can see, just not that good lol.

naah... just try Gulf of Oman / MEC bomber. You can destroy all 3 assets with ONE run :) Arty is an easy target if you know exactly where it is and if there is a lot of them near each other (another example is wake) you can take them down easily...

Yah, but that isn't the same on maps like Clean Sweep, where they arty is placed a ways away from the UAV and Scan trailers Which is why I go for them first, it helps my team out in several ways, it is harder for the commander to spot everyone out at the flags and it takes longer for him to manually find people.

You can take out assets with one laser giuded missle as well.

You should be able to blow all assest with the tank, but in the game it won't let you blow up the UAV trailer as in reality it woulden't take much to kill it.

But yes, technically any weapon can kill an asset. They have health just like a vehicle or person... its just alot... lol

Not ANY weapon; most explosive weapons will damage them but bullets do 0 damage.

You can destroy assets with a tank; takes 20-30 tank shells.
