Ha, I have not seen one of those "in communist russia, xxxxx xxxx you." things in a while. Guess no one has seen those forums.

At any rate, I would just like to see some maps that maybe they threw out early on that are playable given away. I am sure they created 30 maps and then only put 15 in vanilla BF2. Though they don't like the other 15, I am sure the community might like one or two of them.

I would just like a free map pack. No new armies, no new skins, no new weapons, just simple ranked maps.

To help keep people interested in their game so their servers that other pay for are full for longer and they can CONTINUE to make more money? Just an idea.

I could see them releasing new maps but I would bet they would be maps made by the community. As long as they are officially released and widely used I would be happy.

Did you have this game when it first came out? Remember the memory leak?
Load time in SF, my hair grows faster!!! Patchs to fix patchs. Exploits buildings, rocks, walls, Over nerfing the GL. Over powering saw. Heck the saw was more acurate then the sniper rifle! Oh yea lets just forget the AA. Man you couldn't hit a barn. let alone the door. Gee crazy AA missles getting stuck in the flame stacks on OMAN. I kinna miss them, cork screwing away. It was fun to laugh at. While you getting base rape!!! Thats the code. I'll not mention all the cheats. E/A owes us BIG TIME, don't ya think?

I'm wondering.... EA has made gobs of cash from the BF Franchise and I dont recall a single freebie coming for anything BF2 related... would a free booster pack be something you think EA would even consider?

Other games do it sometimes, Unreal Tournament had booster packs that included all sorts of things from new weapons and vehicles to new maps and game modes... Would a couple new maps and a couple new vehicles ever be something you think EA would give away as a sign of good faith toward their loyal community?

Actually in SOME copies of the game, free headsets were given. Of course, that could have been the dealer, but the point is that there was a freebie.
And as to your actual question, **** no. EA.

I'm pretty sure OCS was included with the game becuase you can play single player on it.
