Is SF really worth it?

I am a huge BF2 fan and I am seriously thinking of buying SF. Is it worth $39.99? Are there any good maps? Are alot of people still running SF servers.

you will love it ,you get a bunch of free unlocks (depending on what rank you have atm)no jets good infantary battles and its somthing differnt. a few new badges to get ,plus u can grapple buldings,fire a zipline and fly down it,gas you enemy(got to love that one) also night vision on some maps.

all in all its a good expansion. i payed 20 uk pounds for it imho it was worth it.

p.s you can take get extra weapons in normal bf2 if you have sf and you get 2 unlocks per rank instead of 1 (if you just have bf2)

it's worth it... since I got it... I haven't played vanilla BF2 much. The other expansions have been junk so far though.

Yes, it's worth it. If you like infantry combat anyway. If you love to rule the skies in your J10, SF isn't for you. If you love the ground action of Karkand/Sharqi etc, then SF is a must-have. Incidentally, one of the SF maps (Warlord) totally owns Karkand for a great infantry-based fight.

I too am in the "I paid £20 GBP" club, and it was worth every penny.

then i'll maybe buy it too.
Didn't already bought it coz some guys telled me it isn't worth the money.

tottally worth it. u get a lot of new unlocks, and the maps kick ass. and it gets u better at infantry, rather than vehicle whoring
(unless its ghost town)

Purchase it immideatly... it is worth it, the weapons themselves are worth the money, let alone the maps...

Ghost town is my favorte BF2 map hands down

Worth 39.99...no way! That is the full-price of BF2....SF expansion should cost no more than 29.99 (you can find it cheaper)

sf is £20 in the uk and $29.99 in the u.s

I live in Canada and in Canada SF is $39.99 and BF2 is $59.99.
