I find it strange that if BF2:SF sold 750 000 units, how come I only see like 1500-2500 players at any time of the day (using ASE).
It should be like 10 000 - 25 000 players or maybe even more.
Same thing goes for v.BF2, sure it has been out for a while but still
      theres always between 20 000 - 40 000 online.
and the highest amount of players they had online at the same time was like 5? 000 something players.
It should have been like 100 000 or more considering the amount of units that they´ve sold (1.1 million units I think in the first month).

Are the majority of players playing without a internet connection?
although I read somewhere that there was 780 000 playing v.BF2 online in mars.

Really, which countries? Even so, it's a minimal thing for cardboard boxes and a plastic credit card w/code compared to everything else.

You have to take into account that people play at different times. A constant player base of 25K at any given time sums up to a lot of player per month.

Special Forces is available on the shelf in the U.S. You can get it at Best Buy and EB Games for sure.

Listen to your numbers EA and release another WWII based battlefield game.
The only reason BF1942 sold so many copies was due to the DC mod and one of the main reasons EA bought Trunan (sp), the developer of DC!

I think many of the old DC guys here know of a few people that bought 1942 just to play DC! I know of at least 3-4 people myself!

They made a fortune on EF, i dont have it, but i read PC Format( UK edition ), and they gave it 50%, complaining about the Euro forces having the exact same textures as the americans etc due to lazyness on developers behalf
However i find it interesting that BF2 and all expansions will be realeased soon

Apperantly you didnt read my post. What I was saying is the numbers of players at any given time is always between those figures I stated and the number for most v.BF2 players online at the same time was like 5? 000, sure thats alot but that it didnt go higher then so on one singel time.
I just find it strange considering the amount of units sold especially in the first month, thats all...

U got to be f@king kidding me, 95% of buyers dont know what mod is.
BF1942 was a revulotion in gaming, theres still "some days" more players playing the wake Demo then both DC 0.7 and DC final combined.

I did read your post, you just didn't understand what i was saying. 25K players at one time, add up to a lot of people playing the game. Say you have 25K people on at any given time, and the average player plays for 2 hours (Not sure what the average is, just an example). That would mean that on average, 300K different people play each day. This is not even taking into account that not everyone play everyday.

DC was developed by Trauma Studios which was bought by DICE (before EA bought DICE).
