1.3 coop +unlocks??

as the 1.3 patch is somwhere around the corner,i thought why not have unlocks on a coop server for fun/variety.

not sure if ea can or will do this but what do you think?

should us(bf2 players) be allowed to use unlocks on a singleplayer server ?
after all we did pay xxxamount for the game.

i think it would be a good addition to coop and good for pracy games ect.
now i no unranked does not have this feature,but i'm talking singleplayer coop-mode only unlocks with bots,not a unranked human vs human game.

thoughts are welcome (well wanted really)

Do you understand this will never happen? I swear some people never realize there is such a huge difference in the world of gaming and patches between what we want to see and what we actually end up seeing.

There are millions of things we would love to see, but unless its easy to do quick OR involves making money, devs just aren't interested.

didnt see the point of adding a maybe or not sure.

Like how about a "Id love to see it but it won't happen" option...

what i mean is, no one wants anything to be boring or dull, so of course people only have one logical option

To answer your question flat out, DICE has already said in a community update that they would not be releasing anymore unlocks at all, simply because of the shear amount of more memory and RAM it would take for that to happen.

Just think about how much more memory, information, and ect has to be loaded to incorporate 64 players all running around with more weapons..

That isn't the topic at hand here. The original comment was refering to using the existing unlocks in singleplayer or coop mode vs like it is now where the only way to use unlocks is within a ranked server.

i clearly state in my op ,would us (bf2 players owner of the game) like to have unlocks with the coop mod ,unlocks with bots on a coop server /singleplayer game.

please dont get confused with a unranked multi-player game full of humans,

face it how many ppl can host a 64 player server and be able to give that mutch bandwith to that many players?????

hense coop most pc can handle a few mates in there server agaisnt 30+bots.

but also having unlocks would be a good thing.not a hard thing.

also for those who think i was asking for extra unlocks ,well i was not.
just the stander 3 tiers would be enough.

now asking for awards in coop would be a hard thing to do..but thats a difernt subject. :)

i was just curious to see what everyone thinks about it.

I think they can use unlocks in SP that they have unlocked in Multiplayer

there will be no more unlocks period. Dice ahs stated this, it does not matter if it's coop, conquest, ctf, it does not matter. End of story, D|sso said it right. I'm not sure how many people are going to want to play coop anyway, what fun is it playing with bots? I'd rather play in a server full of real gamers. Maybe the whiners that cry about having the game changed will all move to play coop and leave the friggin game alone for a month or 2 until they discover something else that they cant learn how to do and want that removed as well.

im not asking for more unlocks,i asking if we would like to use the unlocks we have atm to be able to use them in coop.

coop is best used in a lan enviroment,dont think sp 8v8 either.

think custom maps loads of things to drive and fly and swarm after swarm of bots.

its just a breath of freash air ,a bit of a change,some fun with a few m8's ect.

i know ea is not going to add extra unlocks that are not avalible ect.
thats not what im asking,i tried to clearly state what i meant in the op but it seemed to confuse some.

also coop is a good training game mode,this would be even better if we had unlocks,think of the praccy and fun you could have trying to down chopers and jets with a m95 against bots ect.

with the standard weapons alot of the game play it took away.
its like you geting half of the game.

coop will bring unranked servers to life a bit more and give a alternative.

like i said in a previous post.....how many ppl can host a 64 player unranked server and actually sit and wait for it to be full? this would take a long time.
and in uk the upstream banwith is not that high the most you could host would be 1-7 players what fun is that compared to a 64 server full of bots with optional unlocks enabled.

please coment on the subject at hand.yes i agree and full understand why ea is not adding extra (unkown)unlocks due to ram issues.

all im asking for is to be able to use the unlocks that are avalible right now.

I would definitely hope so, It makes sense to have global unlocks available via BF2CC. I will guess that it will be needed to run the servers that run coop mode. I dont see why not.
