hmmm. I havnt had a chance to play to much with the new system. I liked they way Dragon Valley looked on the old rig.

Oblivion has been sucking me in pretty damn hard for the last couple of weeks. and on the new rig, loks damn impressive.

Damn, you guys are making me want to break down and buy Oblivion now. I've been contemplating it, especially since upgrading my rig last month (can now play BF2 with everything on high and maxed with 90+ FPS ). All in due time, though.

Best looking levels would be either FuShe or Dragon Valley. Love that waterfall in FuShe and the pagoda in DV. Wake would come in a close third as well simply because of all the water.

Dailian Plant... why do you think it was in the demo? and maybe Gulf of Oman. Defenitely not Karkand. This is my personal opinion and I dont want to dicuss it.

Uh, the demo had Gulf Of Oman only.

If you're referring to the Intro (not the demo), then you are talking about Daging Oilfields, not Dalian plant.

Songura Stalemate reminds me of bfv, but is a nice looking map. Kubra Damn does look hella better than it plays lol, and Wake Island looks nice too.

As far as games go, I've played just about every major FPS game over the years. The UT based games are a bit too 'cartoony' looking, using overly saturated textures (A common mistake in games) that are just too intense for the eyes. The ID games look good, D3, Q4, etc....but they are still missing something.

Best game so far has been HL2 / CS:S. Graphically its one of the most realistic-looking games I've ever seen. The single player HL2 was amazing, and playing online maps like de_tides in CS:S are incredible. Great graphics, not too hard on the eyes, and looks very realistic. Smoke, bullet effects, physics, etc...

You should check SWAT4 maps. SWAT4 default map pack is by far the best come out in FPS gaming, Every single map is popular in all servers. 1 year of playing and I have yet to prefer one map to another. Plus, the "reality" in those maps is stunning to say the least. Almost nothing is just set there for eyecandy. Stuff is where its supposed to be, rooms are like they are supposed to be. Just magnificent.

As for Kubra being visually better than its gameplay, nah, I love to fly there, thats the thing
