Re: Expert Medic Badge ,help !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It might be best to find a server that IS NOT full on a map like karkand or iron gator where people don't die and respawn quickly - that way you'll have more time to heal people. Also, the way I got mine was by squadding up with a bunch of guys and just healing them whenever we got into a firefight. That way you can stay close to a bunch of guys instead of running around chasing after people. As for expert... well I've never gotten close to 25 heals in one round so I can't help you yet.

      Revives are not totally irrevelant.

Everytime you revive someone you contribute to your team's victory by "Stealing" a ticket from the enemy back. If you dont revive that person then your team loses the ticket.

In reply to a previous poster you should drop 2-3 bags at captured flags or where there is heavy fighting going on (ie just South of the Hotel on the Karkand map). Save the rest for when your squad mates get hit and get heal points fixing them up - you will also see heal points added from the bags you dropped along the way as they stay around for a while and other injured players will pick them up.

Be careful though - the symbols identifying dropped medic bags (and supply bags) are visible to both sides, even through walls, so if you are moving steathily with your team do not give away your position by dropping bags randomly.

This is for the veteran First Aid badge - the Combat Medic badge is 20 kills in a round plus 15 hours in total for veteran.

They are totally irrevelent to the question at hand. They have no bearing on getting the First Aid badges.

A clarification from a player with over 250 hours on the Medic kit. When fully charged, a Medic can drop 3 bags at a time. A Medic can have up to 5 bags out on the ground at any one time. When they drop a sixth bag, the first bag, where ever it is, disappears. Consequently, there is no benefit for "saving" medic bags. Whenever you're not being fired upon and are in a traffic area where a wounded soldier might go, toss out a bag. It will stay there until you toss out a sixth bag at which time it'll disappear on its own or it will be picked up by someone, they will be healed and you'll get heal credit towards the 100 hit points damage you need to heal to get 1 heal point. To get the veteran medic badge (for healing, not combat) you need to be in an area where there is lots of action. The Hotel CP on Karkand is an easy choice. To get the badge out of the way, just run through the area tossing out bags as quickly as possible...don't bother reviving, just keep spamming out the medic bags. You'll get the badge easily.

I received the veteran on Wake Island. Got it by getting close to where the intense battles were near the airstrip and found several guys camping on top of a little hill. I just kept throwing out medic bags and reviving them (not necessary for the badge). Pretty soon I had my ten heal points. Haven't tried for expert yet......don't have the 750 heal points.

Ain't that the truth. All the people that think basic this, vet that is hard...wait till you go for your experts! I could get any of my vet stuff without thinking too hard. It took me weeks and a lot of close calls to get my Expert, and I wear it with pride!

I getting a vet medic would be best in specific situtions. Ideally, when you are at a choke point and both teams are battling at that location. Example: the bridge in Karkand. If the MEC is on one side and the US on the other, people are using all the cover points. Running around dropping medpacks on snipers and prone people is ideal. Sharqi? Hill top lookout when MEC has the first two flags. It is really situational. But, infantry driven maps are really the only why to pull it.

Choke points are were Medics make their money. You are not going to get the heal points just out running in open areas, that is where revives come in.

Another reason why there's no benefit to "save" your medic bags - you have an infinite number of them! Spam them out on the floor, until you have no more medic bags left. Wait a short while, and then reach for your bags again and hey presto, they've replenished themselves...

I always used to spam the bags out around flags etc or for specific wounded colleagues if I saw one, but would hold on to my last one so that I could still hold it and heal others and myself... then I realised that they "respawn" in your kit without you having to get more ammo from a support player or a supply crate, and now I just throw them all out everywhere, knowing I'm not going to run out. Slightly off-topic, but note that this also applies for support players with their ammo bags too.

I don't think the expert combat badges are insane. Hard yes, but then they should be for the "expert" title... You need to be dedicated to get 100 hours with a kit, but if you manage that, 40 kills in a round isn't beyond the realms of possibility.

The expert "team-support" badges are insane though. 25 repairs in a single round?? Ouch...
