In a jet and pressing the button "E" first, and then pressing the buttons "8" and/or "0" instead of "9" which is the one to make the parachute go out.. due to panic.. :|

-Being a gunner in a helo, unknowingly the pilot jumps out either to get another helo or to avoid being killed, and I sit patiently as the nose begins to tip down and fly directly into the ground, killing me
-Being hit with a hand grenade on the run when you think no one is around.
And my favorite...
-Attempting my Expert Ordinace Badge, dropping a clay on Karkand trying to avoid heavy enemy fire only to run in FRONT of the claymore at the precise moment the enemy does, killing myself.

LMAO... if I had a penny for everytime I did that, I'd be a rich man.
Or better yet, pressing the 'E' button accidentally while trying to maneuver and watch as your full health jet flys by.

The absolute worst, and dumbest way to die in BF2, in my opinion is.....

Exiting a rubber raft, and dying. Everytime this happens, i seriously wonder if its worth booting up BF2 and play again. LOL. arghhhh

I find it real dumb, to die while at a friendly flag, surrounded by.....20 of your friendlies. Your the farthest away from any real vantage point if an enemy attacks. However, it always happens, someone (usually 1 enemy) sneaks through, and killls me. All while i got 20 friendlies around me.

I seriously think..........wtf is wrong with my team.

Flying into UAV/Supply Box/Someone parachuting and dying.
Getting shot out of the Blackhawk with an IGLA. (Blackhawk kept flying)
Flying into the wreck after downing a chopper
Attempting to do a Split-S in a bomber (one where you go upside-down with top of plane facing the earth and roll out) but crashing into the ground.
Getting killed by own Grenade from the GL becuase of it rebounds.
Jumping out of a Blackhawk before it explodes, and when it does i get teamkills somehow, and die (suicide)

UAV goes up on Main Base as MEC on Kubra Dam, one APC, one tank one chopper inbound. Problem lots of friendlys in area. So in I come (MIG) and an inch perfect bomb on APC, not to the left or right but smack on, and he was moving and one of my guys next to him.

Smugly I look behind to spot the chopper planning my run, meanwhile I fly straight into the dam, doh.

I was in one of the towers on the bridge in Karkand spamming the train accident with grenades. Was doing this for a while and then, because of lag, one of the grenades that I had tossed didn't get tossed until I started ducking back down and and I saw it just there in front of my face on the ground.

I said "this is going to be bad" to my friends on vent, who were both in the tower with me. . . sure enough, we all die. I get two TKs and a suicide.

That was pretty dumb.

I found a new way to die yesterday...running across flight deck when Blackhawk respawns/drops out of the sky, crushing me!!!!!!

my favs are....

getting killed why running into a parachute while the indiviual floating there is unaffected.

sniped out of the jet by a teammate so he can take the jet.

getting killed by walking between a vehicle and a wall, or the backside of a parked jet

getting shot with the at weapon

Spamming out ammo packs only to have 'em run out and auto-switch you to 'nades... and pressing one more time.

Great way to kill yourself and all your squadmates.

1st: Your squadmate TKs you by accident while talking to him though VOIP. (happend to me)
2nd: waiting for a jet (noone is near) but pressing enter vehicle key rapidly and than just die when it "lands" on your head
3d: get runned over by the vehicle you drove...
4: dropping crate on yourself (happend that too not only once..)
last but not the least: clymore axplodig from half a mile ...

• Hiding behind a red barrel.
• Walking into a parked car and dying.
• Jumping onto a barbed wire fence.

I've walked along the barbed wire fence and not died, outside the construction site on Sharqi don't even damage myself, alough I hear the screaming of pain from the soldier.

1) APC was parked on Karkand with someone in it, they were raping some base, anyway I tried to squeeze past it and died.

I would have to say some of my worse were:

Landing on the barb wire tipped fence on Sharqi
Being hit by stray bombs!

The stray bombs happen the most with the F15 and SU-34, out of the 5 bombs dropped, occasionally the last one will be redirected back into the sky by the blast from the preceeding 4 bombs, where it will land next is a bit of a lottery, but i've been killed by them more than once!

Also stray artillery, if a area with trees gets artilleried, if any of the arty strikes hits the tree it will be bounced back into the sky at random, only to fall on some poor sod a few seconds later no where near the original strike zone (yes, my poor head again )

Being Commander/Sniper on the ... umm... idk what map....but I was up in the VERY VERY tall silo kind of thingy...I was somehow getting shot at, and fell through where the ladder is...So, I'm falling and falling...never thinking to open a chute...I did this about 5 times...SUCH a moron

Wow, a lot of good ones in this thread.

My worst way, very common, spawning while arty is dropping on your spawn location. Now, instead of a 15 sec respawn, now is 30 second wait.
