Wich resolution? I cannot run @ 1900x1620 with full maximized (and full i mean REALLY FULL > gfx drivers, everything on quality , then full AA/AF), FX60 on SLI (2*7800GTX), 2GB RAM. Then i guess, and i won't flame, that simply a PC capable of running BF2 with *EVERYTHING* on FULL simply doesn't exists (at least not with retail PC's *NOT OC*), if you play at middle-high resolutions, *WITHOUT* being caught into low fps. Yop my average FPS get upper that the 100 FPS barrier... but i can show you how is possible with a monster to slow down under the 50 fps and above.

at the resolution of 1280x1024 as you said, that will allow you to max all settings with just a 4x AA and either mid or hi lighting. Install a FRAPS so you could monitor your framerates during the game and if you get lower than 25fps at anytime in the game you might as well re-adjust your settings to improve your fps.

at 2560*1600 even with 2gb ram and 512 video memory you will still find your self in the land of swap file after not to much action with everything turned up.
Dual 7800gts register a massive 0fps if you get c4 happy at that res, non action fps is acceptable (i think around 30), whilst that card will get better results i think quad or more realisticly six cards in sli would be the only way to run at 2560*1600 with goodys turned up without experiancing noticable slow down a peak times.

But i dont think you'll see what you card can do if you stick to 1280x1024, at that res my cards certainly werent being made the best use of.

I should think that you wouldn't have any trouble running it on high.

I'm running everything on high from the in game settings.
My driver settings are full AA & AF with adaptive AA enabled.
                Using a 17" LCD with res @ 1280x1024

Get an overall average of 55 FPS with no slowdown at all.

Best thing to do is turn up all the settings, and if it doesn't run right then come out of it and tweak them down a bit :p
