You could get good framerates with that system if you ran Battlefield 2 at 2560 x 1600. That's pretty much the best resolution availible right now.

The only problem is how good your monitor is, and if you can support 2560 x 1600. The monitors cost about £800 (about $1550), if you want extreme detail.

Yeah I just bought it, its coming the 11th. My old specs are so bad, I have like a nvidia 32mb graphics card, 1.5ghz pentium 4, 256mb or ram and a 40gig hard drive. Yeah its really really bad... but I had another computer but it broke so I had to return it so I havent played BF2 in like a month or more . It had 2.8ghz dual core, x800xl card, 1 gig of 533mhz of ram and a 250gb hard drive.

So how much did this rig cost ya? Are you buying it whole, or were you wise enough to order each part individually and put it together yourself for half the price?

Iam not sure but I think I can go that high. I will probally just use 1280x1024

well it depend what is your max resolution... with HD ultrasuperbig res and 16AA not likly but in 1280*1024 4AA probably yes :) dont forget VSync tho
