I've been playing alot of USI lately. Funny when i went back to a ranked Sharqi server, it felt like hell. Claymores everywhere, snipers everywhere.

USI dev team here this: Keep the snipers broken. You hear me? It's just so much fun doing long range duels with M16's and AK47's. None of that ******** G36E/L85A1 crap either. Stingers to take down the choppers. You actually have more of a chance surviving on foot than in a tank at times. Pretty stupid but funny nevertheless.

Once I hit 20K points, I kind of lost interest in the vanilla game. It took me almost 9 months to get there, and I doubted I would give the vanilla game another 9 months to get to 40K or whatever the next promotion is.

I'm enjoying the FH1 mappack and USI.

I more or less end up on ranked servers. I like the variety of modded material, also the laid back atmosphere of a non-ranked server. Fewer jerks and point whores when the work doesn't count toward another trinket for your nightstand. If I play a ranked server, I'm awared like a new unlock, rank, or medal per week. That is enough to keep me going. I play for fun, not for intangible "look at me!" rewards.
