LOL nice. I usually pair up with my friend since were both scout snipers but he usually is the medic so tells me where the targets are and i take em out.
and when theres guys close to us he takes em out. And heals me if im wounded. So it works for us pretty good.

every sniper has their own type of target kill priority. Some go for medics or AT or infantry or machine gunner or sniper. Everybodies got different priorities. :)

My priority is as follows:
-Medics (they will revive anyone you kill pretty quickly, even if there is more than one you can still get them both if you are fast enough)
-Support (they are like the rambo class, and can resupply the AT men, which for this reason are my next target)
-Anti Tank/SpecOps(these guys will kill your armor. A support man can keep their SRAW/Eryx/C4 nice and healthy)
Hence you cripple the AT man's fighting ability in case you cannot make the shot to take him out.
-Sniper (snipers, if you are being a good sniper and staying at long range, are the only ones of the troop now that can kill you. Take them out before they spot you)
-Assault (they are secondary to Support in the "rambo" role and can get you if you leave them alone and they see you)
-I put engineers at the bottom because many engineers are in armor. If there is armor why are you sniping them? You can't hurt them. Also unless the squad has a vehicle they do not really help them other than in numbers. If they do spot you, they can take you out at close range. Hence they will get close to you. So you place a claymore, and problem solved.

Heh, what I enjoy is shooting someone in the middle of the action, and then shooting the medic that comes by, and the next, and the next. Its funny because medics are peculiar creatures, when they see a pile of dead bodies they are like "omfg pointz!!", they do not give a thought to the fact that something killed those people. Take advantadge of that, plus its more fun than revive-shooting.

.... Just kill whoever seems to be charging towards your squad members.
I'm reading War of the Rats by David L. Robbins, and the snipers are taught to shoot the priority targets first. But this is a game, so I think it's more fun to shoot everyone in the head no matter who they are.... Unless they're your team-mates that is. =)

couldnt agree more. priorities arent the best way to go in Bf2

dang, you guys take this wayyy to seriously. Xfire me (sniperares115) ... if you want to see how to snipe. Are you guys saying, you sit it a spot and go prone and "snipe" people?? i think you are a better sniper if you play in a squad and can run, stop, shoot/kill then keep running with your squad.

TF sniper umm......... no i dont think most snipers would go out WITH a squad
to kill and run shooting at pretty much nothing. Definition of sniper: A skilled military shooter detailed to spot and pick off enemy soldiers from a long range and concealed place.
Not while running with a squad. lol
