This is something I use when there is a group of enemys or a squad attacking and I am defending when I am sniper. I pick off enemy units according to their class if they are in a group, if they are lonewolfs far away from the action of course you will pick them off, but for TEAMWORK, I help my team by spotting and taking out targets in this priority.
1. Snipers
Other snipers are the biggest threat to you as a sniper and your teammates, if you do not kill him right away chances are he will find you soon.
2. Anti-tank/Medic/Engineer/Support
This part varies greatly. If you see an anti tank firing at your vehicles, spot him and take him out fast before he causes serious damage. If a medic is healing his squad, spot that squad and kill the medic FIRST. Some people dont kill the medics because they want the last people they shot to be revived, but I play as teamwork so I take out the medics first to give my team an advantage. If there is an engineer fixing their tanks, take him out, that way those tanks will be weaker compared to your teams. Same with support, if they are laying down suppresive fire and your guys have their heads down, take him out and give your men some room to advance.
3. Assault
Assualt could fall under number 2, but from medium to long range is ineffective at taking out your men. If he is close in owning your guys then of course take him out as soon as you can, especially players using g3 or ak series as they are accurate even at longer ranges.
4. Spec-ops
Spec ops fall down to 4, but here is the reason. Not that many players play as spec ops in squad play or on the front lines, and they are not that effective at longer ranges. The times you want to watch for them would be c4ing bridges or swimming rivers to your lines. Spot them out to alert your team, and take them out if you can. You do not want to lose a commander asset. Claymore the commander assets if you feel necessary. (For example on Wake Island I claymore the U.S. artillery, usually a chinese chopper tries to come in and take it out.)
In terms of Anti Vehicle Combat
You will want the M95 for anti vehicle, all other snipers are useless except for taking out humvee/tank gunners or passengers in the back.
There is no priority for vehicles, but if you are skilled enough with M95 you can kill tons of Humvee drivers and chopper pilots if you learn to time your shots. I probably have 50-100 kills on drivers alone, with more on gunners. The M95 scares enemys more than you think. Shooting at a chopper with 3-4 rounds will scare it away sometimes, giving your team valuable time to cap a flag, or bunker down. Humvees are great to shoot at, and always aim for the windshield because more often than not you can get a headshot or serious damage on the driver. You can killl pilots in jets that are flying slow and low, I have shot a pilot out of a jet in midair and it is very cool.
Hopefully this can help some people figure out how to be more of a team player as a sniper, this probably is general information already but I felt like it should be put out there for some newer snipers. Im not an expert sniper myself but I do my part to help the team.
Cheers, Viper
