When Im strolling down an alleyway with my PKM, for example and I come face to face with another PKM toting individual who happens to be my enemy... here's how it goes more often than not...
I go prone and fire, maybe a quarter of a second apart... Now most of the time the crosshairs is on his neck of head, as I have pretty good aim (if I do say so myself... and I do...)Im firing away and it seems that from the hip, in the middle of his dive, he pops me in the face...
Aside from crying "Cheater!" I have come to the conclusion that I am doing something ineffecient...
I've tried various methods of initiating an engagement of force with the enemy and when its face to face, at close range or long range, and we both have the chance to react at the same time, the other guy seems to win more often. Its frustrating!
It happens at range too, like as a medic, against another medic... the first shot out of their gun, or the first burst into my body is in my forehead ... are they just getting lucky or are they operating in a different method that is more effecient?
I go prone first, should I shoot first and go prone second? Is it "simultaneous"?
What button is "Prone" for you? What works best..... Im picking all your uber-leet brains here, so thanks for the input.
I want to get to the next level...
