I'm actually making a Jihad atv movie. Got some brilliant scenes - stopped 5 people from taking an outpost, Parking my quadbike right behind a prone support guy, tapping him on the soldier, and when he looks around - *beep* BOOM. My favourite has to be with a buggy on Dragon valley though - Drove a jeep off the cliff above the US spawn above the Cobra, right as it's taking off :laugh:

Well to reply to what one poster said, I wasn't doing it repeatedly, I only did it the once, and that helped break the stalemate on us a little bit. After that one try I went back to normal tactics.

Christ, People bandy around this NOOB insult rather freely. In my 260 hours of playing BF2, I have honestly never thought of Jihad Jeeping and never wittingly had it done to me. But it sounds like a cracking idea and great tactical manouvre.

All this bollocks about "Cheap" tactics is just nonsense. If armour is raping a spawn point, then dont spawn there. Also not allowing troops into uncaps base is a nonsense also. One of my fav things to do is go and hide somewhere cunning with the M95 and pop jet and heli pilots as they jump into passenger seat. It's great fun! But yet I have been kicked for "Base Raping" because of this. Yet on the same server I have watched their jet pilots bomb the crap out of our carrier and the queues of Jet and heli whores hanging around there.

I think many admins just make rules up to suit themselves and excercise arbitrary laws at whim.....especially when things dont go their way. I have been kicked before for "Base Raping" when what I actaully done was spawned b4 the admin on the ATF clan server and jumped in the bomber that he decided was reserved for him and his mate. I have also had admin block my jet, resulting in me teamkilling them only to get kicked and banned for teamkilling.

THe only thing I really do object to is artillery on uncaps spawn points. this could easily be fixed by EA by siomply having a patch that will not allow artillery to fall upon a certain area...i.e. uncaps spawn areas............oh yeah, and the rat tactics alongside the utter selfishness displayed when competing to get into Jets/Helis. this could be sorted as well by having a tickets system whereby if u have used yours up someone who still has tickets gets priority.

With the skills of most BF2 players, you can rely more on Jihad Jeepers to take out armour then choppers and jets

I'll tell you what.

Despite the tasteless name (lets not get into an argument over this statement), it is unfortunately a useful tactic. Those times when your base is pinned down by a tank and you have no AT kits around you, it's often easier to sneak up to a jeep, lay down C4, and rush him when the turret is pointing away than it is to try to run up and plant C4 on him. Besides, as many of you will attest, even if you get C4 on him, I'd say that 60-80% of the time the guy sees you and backs away to get a clean shot before you can switch to your detonator. Driving the blast to him is faster and more of a surprise tactic than trying to plant on him and survive.

And, yes, it's legal according to the ROE. All you have to do is find a server where the admin understand the term "ruthless, but allowable".

The only time I consider it against roe is when we are down to the last flag and someone takes a vehicle for jihad useage and leaves 10 teammates stranded with no transportation.

In that situation it hurts your team.

I try to be considerate with vehicles. Playing either Karkand or Wake the other night, there was an empty tank. I entered but saw someone else was heading towards it. As I'm pretty crap in armour I let them have it and took the M2 position.

I prefer to call it "suicide commando" style.I love playing like that,although I'm not crazy to do that all the time,but sometimes it is necessary I guess.

I don't do the thing with the jeep like you guys do,but I usually run to a vehicle(mostly enemy tanks) plant c4 as fast as I can and detonate before I get killed.Other than that,I do that c4 thing again when I know enemies are coming to me and I have little life or I can't run away.I throw some c4 on the ground instead and wait until they come close to me.Then we all die.I remember that was something the Greeks used to do in 1821 in the greek revolution:When the Greeks where overwhelmed by Turks in a besieged city or somewhere else,they gathered in the building where they had all the gun powder and ammunition for the muskets and cannons,they waited until the Turks entered the building or room and blew themselves up along with as many Turks as they could.

About the jeeps,I don't use the c4,but if I have little life I just drive as fast as I can and fall with the jeep or other vehicle on another enemy vehicle.
