Drunken Pirate needs your help!

If you see something funny, strange, rare or just interesting, please take a screen shot and send it in. Just make sure that it is YOUR screen shot (not lifted from another site) and that it is taken using the screen shot function built into BF2 so that you don't have a huge X-Fire logo across it.

If you need help taking the screen shot, finding it afterwards or touching it up (yes you can edit them to make it better) just let me know by posting here. I have been using Photoshop for over 10 years so I can do some pretty awesome things.

I have to head home but please keep this bumped and let me know if you need any help with anything.

i just got a evga 7800 gt super clocked. Will see if i can get some good screenies for you. Now able to play with all options maxed out with no lag. The game looks freaking amazing with this card. Anyone looking to upgrade their AGP card i highly suggest checking this card out.

Nvidia Geforce Mx4000 64mb in SLI here.

J/k I have a 6600GT but I can set it on high to take screens.


It doesn't matter if you have the most expensive card, it won't make the game look even better than the bf2 high settings. So you really dont need a uber gfx card.

I would love to help, but exactly what kind of things are you looking for?

Is Drunken Pirate comparing different cards or is there something else I`m missing here?

You can set the setting to ultra high by going into C:\Documents and Settings\________\My Documents\Battlefield 2\Profiles\0001\video.con and changing the 3's into 4's

I know.. I never said it would make a difference in quality now did I :laugh: It just says "Ultra high" instead of "high".

wow, makes me think my ati 9550 sucs, i put everything at off or low, only view distance is 100% thats all. sometimes i cant c far off peeps cos they get meshed up in the pixels

How much ram do you have? I only have a GB and I chose not to run the game with all of the settings on high... with a similar card BFG 7800 GT OC
