okies, help me out here... above, someone was talking about maxxing out a card beyond that which the game offers in the options. I run the game full maxxed with no lag. What other setting can I change to stress the graphics?

Use your cards manual settings from windows. See my attached image. I also attached a graphics picture:
      1600x1200 resolution
      SLI 7800GT's

Note the fps in the upper left corner.

Re: Calling all uber graphic card users!

All I see is alot of pics that people say they have the highest settings on.. but they really arent.. highest is all things set high even Anti aliasing and other high settings that cant be chosen from in game menus.. like anisotropic filtering, mipmap detail levels, Z buffer settings.. etc.

And it appears that most that think they look good could use some tweaking.. especially that one clan linked pic.. omg it looks hard to even read the text on the screen let alone all the antialiasing defects exerywhere..

I admit this is a hard game on graphics.. but I really do think too many people brag about graphics being on all high.. when they are merely reporting thier in game menu settings, but yet thier graphics look no different than most.

Either way here is one from AF recently and this is with only high settings in BF2.. actually still tweaking after installing two new cards.. and will post others after I get settings right.. even now Im not happy with the look feel of it.. but frame rate is all good.

i can assure you the first thing i do after re-installing is set my graphics card to the max! whats the point of having a top end card then leaving it on default options
