There are loads of places in maps that have ambient sounds, you can only really hear em when there is no combat action nearby.
The tunnel on Kubra Dam is another one.

I've heard the groaning metal. Like some massive metallic piece of architecture started to move after years of a rust build up. I only hear it if i'm on the crane, or on a tall building.

I also hear it in Gulf of Oman. Not to mention that vague speaker phone chatter you hear in the background...very immersive .

if you ever get away from the bird watching you can hear a guy call for a medic when you kill him

on karkand & some other maps i can also hear that grinding effect too.

I always thought it was sumert to do with the ambience in game tbh. But it is kinda spooky.
