They can still switch you to the other team, which will force suicide you.

Actually force switching you waits until you die to switch you if I do remember correctly.

There is a kill command in the BF2 code, but BF2CC does not use it because its very buggy.

The kill command can cause the server to crash depending on what the player is doing when the command is issued.

It's very easy to write a python script to do this... and I'm guessing that's what you saw.

It is, however, a violation of the Trusted Server Agreement to modify python scripts. There's a couple scripts that have been OKed by EA (punish display, for example), but forcing suicide is NOT one of them.

It would be hard to report this since you can't really get any evidance, but those servers should be taken down via the rules of running a ranked server.

There is definitely no kill option for BF2CC.

Modmanager had a kill command at one stage but they removed it because it would crash the server. If the player was in a vehicle they couldn't just kill the player they had to kill the vehicle and this caused the server to crash so it was removed. I'd say that version of BF2CC you found with the kill player option corresponded with the MM version that had the kill player option in it, which can no longer be used with current versions of BF2.

There is no console command that I know of that works to kill a player for BF2.

There was a console command in BFV that would kill the player though.

This has happened to me many times in these latest patches. Seem to die for no reason. I have even died and it hasn't said no more or anything at all it didn't produce a line on screen yet I died.

We also blew up mid air in the heli and I reviewed the BR and we didn't collide with anything like dropped supply crates or UAV, plane, heli we just blew up mid air.

              Wrong.
I've been switched to the other side, sometimes even while flying, and I lost 2 points during that like I'm committing a suicide.

Is there an option to boot you from the commander slot? I was in a server the other day, and we were about to win had like 40 tickets to go, and I got booted from commander so I applied again, and got it. Happened like 3 times, I assumed they didn't want me to the extra points, and when I went to their teamspeak they knew my name. Claimed it was a server glitch. Just curious.
