Re: Leaving PC gaming for console.

If youre leaving PC gaming because youre getting owned in the games, you deserve no sumpathy. If youre leaving in hopes for better sportsmanship and respect between players, know that there are smacktards everywhere.

I love Resident Evil Outbreal for example. You know what some do there? Block the doors so you can escape the zombie/BOW coming at you, while you have no ammo and youre low on health. You cant escape the idiots, because they are everywhere.

Having said that- wait for PS3, they dont charge you for online play, and Killzone 2 will most probably impress you (infantry mostly probably, in MP), both gameplay and graphics wise.

Sorry, I only pay to purchace the game, I don't pay to play it

But updated constantly because you pay for it, money makes the world go round... Updated constantly (week to week) for a monthly fee or updated every few months checking the webpage for new content on a regular basis and berate the DEV teams because they suck out loud because there's no content? :) Hmmmmmm, Wouldn't be surprised if I head this route after PS3 is released.

Why do people feel the need to announce their departures? Do they want people to pat them on the back and say "nice job quitting soldier!", or do they want us to talk them out of the numbskull decision they're making?

                The world may never know....

I think they want people to come up with reasons not to switch but hey...do what makes you happy...not what makes everyone in some forum happy.

Console is cool for games like Hitman and the GTA series. When I travel for work I take my PS2 because my laptop can't even handle CSS, especially with a 10GB harddrive that is already packed as it is.
I guess PC gaming is good because that seems to be where the bulk of the technology is geared. There is also the hardcore competitive gaming side of things. It's just really tough for me to take the PS2 SOCOM clans seriously, you know?
The bottom line is that you have to make an effort to find decent servers no matter what online PC game you play. If youo want to be a pub-allstar then you will find that you are constantly getting owned by someone. It's not that they cheat or anything, they just end up being more skilled with a specific weapon (what everyone calls whoring).
Anyhoo, have fun and take care :salute:

Bon voyage. You do know that people are people and a crappy $200 console is probably gonna attract even more idiots than PC gaming which by its own expensive nature locks out a large chunk of the special educationers?

It's called being an "attention whore" this a-hole wants his hand held as he leaves the PC world....be a man and leave with some dignity.

To say this individual seems to be fairly new to the totalBf2 community and judging by his global score is fairly new
This is exactly what I'm on about.
I hate to bring up my meager stats but guess what homie I have more global pts than you and you were around a whole month before I joined the forums. So STFU and go play Super Donkey Kong Ballz Country or whatever the f#ck you're itchin' to play on console.

Have fun with all the 12 year old console players.

If you're switching to consoles stay away from xbox360, it's $500 worth of MICROSOFT BUGS. A little redbluetagbug / dillholebaserapewhore is nothing in comparrison. Plus paying for any online gaming....

Well, hate ta see ya go. You've been a perty good part o this community 'n all. I know what you mean with the stress of PC gaming, but personally I couldn't go to consoles for anything more than beer 'n prezel sessions.

That said, this is really kinda off topic... so it belongs there.

Played online games since Ghost Recon, Mohaa and the rest and honestly I've basically had enough of playing against people that just have no balls basically to fight with abit of sportsmenship.

                                Anyone else felt the same?
So be it! And have fun with console, I'm sure you'll find them more satisfying than PC when it comes to playing for fun occasionally. And yes, I've felt the same way. Though I will never completly quit PC gaming because there's so much to do with a PC other than gaming.

I would immediately go buy a Xbox360 if the games were less expensive. 70€ for a short single player game is just too much for me. I don't care about online playing with them. A PC is better for that.

Farewell and towards new challenges! :salute:
