Stat system is lame, made more cheaters,padders. BFV was fine with out some silly stats and people played the game without all this crying.

Thats why we will move onto mods, and leave the stat crap behind.

Without the stats the maps are already dull and repetitive and the prospect of paying for what should be free would make me take my "gaming dollar" elsewhere

I don't plan on buying AF right away and will browse these forums for feedback first.

Yeah I would, but the stat system to me is achievements and how you progress and what your best at etc, and what you need to improve on, but like the 2nd poster said, I would no doubt mess around alot more, but if there was no stat system I think it would just be teamkillingfield 2. Also too many people are desperate to get awards, I get C4 thrown at me alot, idiots chassing after me just to try get another C4 kill for there badge, and for instance theres people on here with like 50,000 kills with the tank/heli/jet I mean would you have done that if there was no stat system? I use the heli as mainly pilot and the Jet too as dogfighting owns without a doubt, and theres nothing like taking out stingers with the cannon and tanks with bombs.

Anyway the question is, is the game about having fun, or being 1337?

Heck yeah I would still play. But its not the stats, that people play for its the awards, unlocks, and ranks. Most people could care less about what there accuracy is or there K;D ratio is, just as long as they get that medal or rank.

I'd play without the stats, cause I mainly use them right now just to see how I'm doing....I don't even intend on going for the armor badges that require countless hours of sitting in a tank, and I don't intend on squeezing out however many hours in a jet you need to get that....I'll play how I wanna play, and if I get a medal for it, cool....as long as its fun

Absolutly, the game is awesome with or without the stats system. As stated by others before, I would play more for fun and screw around more and have just as much fun if not more.

when did the game become about the points, it was so much better when it was just about the kill. but on the other hand, getting a new rank is always a good thing. stats can be good to see how your doing, kills/death ratio and favourite weapons etc.
