Sure would, so long as unlocks were still available, or at least some form of weapon customization.

Not as much because I recently found out there is money to be had in stats market lol :laugh:
Cant wait till Battlefield 2142 comes out, I'll be a stat whore and sell account at some point again.

Been playing on-line games for a damn long time, and up untill now I wasn't involved in any stats system, outside of ngworldstats for UT99/2K4, heck yeah, I'd play. Of course, it would change how things are done, but I'd still be out there fighting..

I'd probably play just as much since it's the first online game I've tried and never had it before. I don't keep track of stats, other than using them as a milestone for unlocks in the past. Now that I'm at 21000 points I no longer care so I don't even care if servers are ranked when I logon. Stats are only useful to me as a way to measure if I am improving my own skills. I couldn't care less about ribbons, medals, ranks, and points. I got almost all of them accidently just while playing and having fun. Except for knife and pistol as I wanted to see if I could get First Sarg. IRL my rank is Dad, which is much higher than General.

Stats are awesome. And they help gameplay, more players get more serious when playing when stats are used (but unfortunately not all).

I would probably have played the game anyway, but not as much. Getting the unlocks are a target, something to work against. Its rather motivating.

stats are nice but i think they stop a lot of fun going on in the game, i think id play just about the same amount if we didnt have them, but i do think id have a lot more fun

You mean make it so that I don't feel like I have to put everything on hold and devote 100% concentration to the game just because I want to fly a chopper? What a concept! I supose next you would like to make it so that I don't get screamed at by the guy that I politely waited for at the landing pad everytime I crash.

the stats make the game like an MMORPG for people who claim they hate MMORPGs... all the FPS kiddies who are like "EQ and WoW suck mah balls" are the same people all like "OOH, Only 100 more points (*cough*experience*cough*) until my next rank (*cough*level*cough) and they i get the new sniper unlock (cough*higher rank of frost-bolt spell*cough*).

Yeah, you all just cant stand those RPGs, hehehe.

I prolly wouldnt play near as much if I werent working toward something... i like the stats, they are why I play this and not CS:Source.

I'd play jsut about the same - no difference. It's nice to get 'rewards' too but if there were no stats heck I'd still play as much!
