of course it has horrible manuverability. its not as mauverable as the JSF. The A-10 isn't called a "flying tank" for nothing. Its is entirely geared for Anti-tank warefare, gotta pray for one of two things 1) the JSF guys are actually planning to guard your sorry rear or 2) the j-10 boys are total idiots at flying. 2 seems to be your best bet.

The real A-10 has the best low speed turn rate of almost ANY combat aircraft.

Ha. I actually wire bombs and load them on the actual A-10 worthog. It is a pretty kick ass aircraft it is not a fighter otherwise it would carry more air to air missles..I carries only 1 and that is primairly for choppers because of the speed. It has 11 total loading stations but with something called a TER or Tripple ejector rack it allows it to carry more. It is a air to ground fighting machine. So ha to all and to all a good night....

As far as it using it's payload, bombers use different bombs than fighters. The bombs in the screen above are indeed the 2 Qty. bombs.

Nevermind the 20mm depleted uranium anti-armor nose mounted gattling gun that burps out a couple thousand rounds of tank-busting goodness per minute...

The machine gun on the front of that sucker will be its biggest asset, if they do it right.

The A-10 is made for low altitude, tank busting with its gun, thats why the engines are mounted high on the tail section, less chance of crap getting in them as they scrape the battlefield...

Man, now I gotta go look for an A-10 video... i love that aircraft.

Lets see...

Aside from the GU-11 cannon... The only worthwhile weapon for dogfighting is the cannon, but the maneuverability of the A-10 is like that of a drunk yak.

It's the GAU-8 cannon isn't it? I'm pretty sure it is.

And whoever told you the A-10 can't manouver hard was talking poop. Down low lever, (where alomst 99.99999% of BF2 flying is done) the A-10 can turn and burn with the best of them.

Although i do conceed it doesn't have any burners, so it can turn :)

Geeeeez.... How can u say "nerf down" when the product is not even out yet?

Maybe in the early stages it only had a pistol taped to the nose of it and they have only made it more lethal since.

Maybe...even if it just has 2 UGMBs... it will be too powerful all together and it will thus ruin the balance of AF .. so let's just wait and see OK?

Well at least one person got it right, Dindysport. Another Air Force guy and now our A-10 expert! Can anyone say hands on, LOL.
Anyway, its an attack aircraft thats why it has the "A" in front of the ten. If it were a fighter it would say "F" or "B" for bomber. Just think of it as a P-51 with Jet engines. Not a fast air craft but very nimble, hard to catch or lock on. Like trying to catch a "Greased Pig" hense the name wort hog. The SU-25 is the Soviet era (still in use) attack air craft. Its able to fly low and slow enough to fool the radar into thinking its just a very fast car or boat. I only hope that the in game physics for both are close to what the real Air craft does. Will be SWEET. . . . . . . . .Red
