SF was worth the money, Euroforce isn't even worth a free download. This will suck ass like the previous booster pack. New planes, whoah gee golly gosh let me go get my wallet!
Its not that it doesnt look cool. My opinion is if they are trying to release a quality product, small things like this they would catch and fix. When your in the military, attention to detail is what is hammered into your head. Like when you watch a movie and see the camera in the reflection in a mirror or something to that effect. I look for realism and attention to detail while I play games, makes it more enjoyable for me. If you dont like it, thats your opinon, but dont start talking down for ppl pointing out flaws.
and he is correct. The A-10 uses turbo fans, like a B-52 bomber. No after burners included. Besides, if it did have AB's that would take away from its maneuverability
This pack is supposed to be all about tank/apc fights, yes? But DICE still haven't fixed the balance between air and armour, right? So there will be no point in using armour on these maps, and hence no point in getting the pack.
I confidently predict that these maps will turn out to be like every other map with aircraft: Great if you are flying, mediocre if you are on foot, pointless if you are driving.
If they want to "balance" the armour they should do it by adding more armour, so everyone can get some.
*Edit* Don't get me wrong, I love A-10s and I would like nothing more than to see a well balanced battlefield with massed armour and air power all blasting away, but after several tries DICE has failed to make that happen, and I see no sign of it happening with the next patch.
play operation smoke screen or taraba quarry....each side gets 2 linebackers and two aircraft, thats as fair as its gonna get
Good stuff from Armoured Fury and the new patch but the only thing I will be getting is the new patch because I don't feel like spending the money on Armoured Fury after the disaster that people reported about Euro Force.
Looks like good maps. Will probably give it a download.
After all 3 new maps for 10USD is not exactly gonna break the bank now is it.
All these people who moan about it being 10$, you either fancy a few extra maps for next to nothing or you dont.
Sheesh its only a game, either play the extra maps & pay your 10$ or dont bother , but there's no need to winge about it!!!!
