sorcerers/dragons in BF2
I think it would make an interesting and thoroughly entertaining game: take BF2 and add Dungeons and Dragons style characters as options. You'd still have all the same snipers, assault..., that is, it would still be BF2, but you'd also have Wizard, Thief, Ranger, Paladin and so on. They'd have the same abilities and weapons of a normal DnD rpg, that is, swords, spells, bows etc. And the vehicles they'd get would be dragons instead of jets; giant turtles that shoot toxic spittle, instead of tanks; horses/griffons/centaurs instead of jeeps.... I wonder how they'd fare against your basic medic/engineer/armor whore? The wizard would probably be the funnest to play, what with all the lightning bolts and fireballs that he could shoot -- not to mention haste and invisibility. He'd frickin own all the planecampers! Invisibly sneak into a bunch of tk-ing, bunny hopping plane campers and shoot off a fireball! It would be hilarious rofl!! And Palidins and Rangers would pwn guys in close combat, too. The Thief would be able to sneak up on SF guys and steal their C4!!
And I don't even want to start on how freaking hilarious it would be to frag Gandalf or Frodo with a G36!! Toss a grenade into a bunch of Palidins and watch the armored body's fly!!:laugh: :laugh:
