I have to agree with Apostle.

At minimum the number of resets/de-lists should be published to show the community that EA is acting in good faith with more than just words.

If it was up to me the names of players and servers would be viewable on a web page.

People respect companies like Blizzard when they publicly closed 18,000 accounts.

EA is usualy about lip service.

Although I despise the thought of ROEs in this game and feel that it has gone way off the track of the BF series, I do have to stick up for the guys that run that site. These guys are doing something to try and help you guys that want rules, if your not going to take it upon yourself to take the time to try and do what these guys are trying to do, then don't knock their efforts. Instead of complaining about it, try to help them out and do something about it, even if that means getting more than one instance of the same guy f*ckin around on different maps and then submitting it all at once.

Yeah don't get me wrong IVfluids, I respect what they're trying to do, but I get the feeling that BFRoE is doing their bit, and EA isn't taking a hard enough line on these players and/or servers.

Like IndianScout said, they just pass the info' on to EA.

        Thank you.

Or a company like Valve who banned twenty thousand illegal HL2 accounts, and probably many many more players for hacking amongst other things.

          Re: Does ROE do anything?

if I had to take a guess at the number of resets that have taken place coming from both the bf2rs and bfroe programs to EACS,

I would think the number would be 3500 - 5000 give or take,

you have to remember that EACS also does their own resets..

            [QUOTE=BloodFlood]"Players Reported: 850 | Servers Reported: 444"

            Actions taken ..?
            Cd-Keys banned ..?

Its nice that there is SOME effort into ridding the scum but im guessing ROE ..has no power to restrict somebody who paid for the game from play, nor the right to deny a server paying a hosting company ranked status. Even tho this is exactly what should happen to faggots that cheat, and newb nerd ass **** clan kids that pay for servers to harbor cheaters and stat padders.

waste of time... just some ego trippers who want to act like they
have some power (but they dont..)

actually if you setup a server that does not abide by the ROE rules

              IE..

knife pistol, infantry only, restrict unlocks and more they will be either delisted or EACS will notify the GSP and have it shut off,

I've seen this 100's of times..

the goal of BFROE as well as BF2RS is to try and keep the ranking system as pure as we can and to have a level playing field for all skill levels of players..

if we didnt try and do the best job that we can and to try and keep the ranking system pure, all your hard work for an unlock badge or rank wouldnt mean much when some guy could spend a few hours cheating and gain the same thing..

thats what the programs are about..

              have a great day

                Re: Does ROE do anything?

No offense Indian, but the stats already mean next to nothing and the ROE aren't really doing anything to change that. Its gone too far already with too many people statpading and using other such techniques to tweak their stats one way or another for anyone's stats but your own to mean anything. I know that my stats aren't real great, but at least I earned those and I know that, but I can't say that with any amount of confidence about anyone else that I come across.

But then again I still don't get the point of all the badges and stuff, it seems to me that all they do is encourage people to play for themselves and not for the greater good of the team. Since the game is supposedly all about teamwork it seems kinda backwards to me. But thats just my opinion.

please PM me as this forum is password protected on the BFROE forums or here..

I think it would be a good idea to have something like BF RoE setup for BF2142, before it is launched. :)

                    Any plans on that?
