How and where do I find the 16bot maps for these two. Are they supposed to come with an update or what??

I have never been able to play these on singleplayer, the only way you can, is set your own server up but you wont get bots!

Just wait till 1.3 comes out, you will be able to do Co-Op then!

what does 1.3 mean? Is that a patch EA will release to allow SP mode for those maps?

Yes Unlce Mo, there will be a new type of mode in Sinlgle player called co op mode that will let you play with bots and humans.

bit off topic..but how can u love kubra dam?! if ur not flying then ur prob walking across the hills..personally i find that the worst map ever becuse it feels like infantry dont do anything in that map

I hated Kubra Dam when I first got into BF2; now it's my favorite map.

I don't recommend downloading to or altering any of the files in the BF2 mod directory. Doing so can sometimes screw up your online MP.

I recommend creating a new mod and then moving the downloaded maps into your new mod\levels folder.

For example:

1. Create new mod folder under C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\YourNewMod

2. Copy contents of the BF2 mod into YourNewMod folder

3. Download the map file and right click to unzip to your desktop. Then move the map's info folder and server.zip file into an existing map folder or if it is a new map such as Vulcan Island then copy the entire unzipped folder to the levels folder.

For example:

C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\YourNewMod\Levels\Vulcan_Island
C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\mods\YourNewMod\Levels\Strike_at_Karkand

4. Create shortcut on your desktop pointing to your new mod

For example: "C:\Program Files\EA GAMES\Battlefield 2\BF2.exe" +menu 1 +fullscreen 1 +modPath mods/YourNewMod

5. Launch game using your shortcut, choose Single Player, and your will see the maps.
