Just stay away from pistol and knife servers, they are against the ROE. Personally, I would not report you, but some more strict types might. The pistol badge is pretty easy to get during normal play, just stick with non pistol/knife servers and you will be alright.

Knife and pistol servers are against the ROE, people have been known to be reset for going there to earn awards unfairly.

So he went into a pistols and knife server to his badge...Big effing deal. This guy is so bloody low on the stats padder totem pole that EA wouldn't even consider erasing his stats. Not even for a second.

You guys should focus your battle cries towards the people who actually do this everyday and inflate their score by the thousands.

okay thanks, to those strict players, I really never understodd stat padder is, but I ment nothing I thought it was alright I'm not aware of all this but thanks for telling me....If it is considered as stat padding I wish I could give away that badge.

I got some hack from a friend I told him I never liked playing with hacks...its no fun...

I really like to play clean...

but for those who replied thanks guys, I will stick to the servers I have and forget about this pistol knife servers or any of that stuff...

Some people join them not knowing, though. I've been caught in situations where i've joined them but no where did it say it until I got in-game and the admin was making everyone use only infantry and they weren't allowed to use commander, noob tube, or use armor on a karkand map, and only you weren't allowed to capture all the bases either. Needless to say you can report these servers, then again all lazy EA has to do is go into the browser and type 'pistol, or knife' in and find the damn things. Then they wouldn't have near as many people joining those servers for that reason.

first, i dont care much about pistol servers...never seen them b4..but rules are rules and u shouldnt go against them

but can someone explain how pistol/knife servers are stat padding? (wihtout vehicles) i find pistols and knives impossible to use, but if everyone is using just pistols/knives..isnt it fair

I never saw a rule that prevents me from joining BF2 servers as long as they exist, but this stat padding is somthing new to me, since I know about it now...I wont play in them if they are stat...padding stuff....

If you run BF2 version 1.0 it's full of stat padders and exploiters who run verion 1.0 just to stat boost off the new players who don't know how to patch. It's kinda ridiculous...

The point is he helped support a kp server for a period of time. Whether it's idiots like him that don't understand that type of server is dementing this game or people who don't care and are purposely destroying it, neither need to be supported, encouraged or understood. They simply need to be reset to be made an example of so it will minimize. As more people get reset the word will get out and hopefully we will minimize the idiots around here.

Honestly this guy has almost 150 posts here. You think he's clueless about this community or the problems it has? He's just being an idiot. I'm all for resetting the stats of idiots.

If you had any form of morals, you would've realised that what you are doing is just plain stupid in the real world. Before you bang on about how they shouldn't be doing it & how ignorance isn't an excuse, why don't you re-program the game and have a message upon log in that links to the rules? EA obviously have enough time to advertise "European Forces" or whatever, but they can't tell everyone the rules? Think before you type, it saves me a slight raise in temperature, and your cheeks from going red.

And once you get a clue about how the world works, feel free to visit us again in here. Your logic is not only flawed, many of your arguments work in direct opposition to you. Ruining someone else's purchase? What about him ruining mine? I refuse to condone/overlook such activity. He can learn to play by the rules set forth for the entire community. Not his own, not ones he's not aware of, but the common set we ALL have to abide by.

My logic is definitely not flawed. I wanted to see how you can see him ruining your purchase, because last time I checked, the only thing he may gain out of this is a better rank, therefore commander, therefore more points, not necceserily more fun.

Rules set by the community? Baloney. The only rules are moral rules (which differ from person to person) and the RoE set by EA, which last time I checked, were for Ranked Servers. So, unless you wanna type up the "official" rules list for players and get EA to put it somewhere noticeable, don't expect people to obide to an invisible law.
