What rank is next?

Dear members I got a question.

ok I am not aware of how the rank system works much, I hold a postion of gunnery sargent so far and as far as I know the next rank will be master sargent. in BF2s.com My next rank shows that I will be first sargent and it says also that I am not eligable for it due to my pistol badge is not yet given. SO last night I went into a pistol server and got my basic pistol badge. I got most of the basic badges so far.

so does it mean if I have the required badges I will jump to first.S or what?

get all the basics before you get 20,000pts and you'll be first sarge.

all the required basic badges for first sarge has been aquired before I reach 20,000...I'm 19,190 or somthing.

SO last night I went into a pistol server and got my basic pistol badge.

Again! Three people in the last couple hours owning themselves!!

This is why it is considered stat padding.

no one knows about it though, i think its bs really that ea wipe stats for it but they dont really make an effort to make sure that everyone knows the rules.

Or the Rank button on the left side of the webpage/frontpage on the sidebar where it says rank, there it will tell you all you need to know on what to get for your promotion.

okay I must be missing somthing here...whats with this stat padding, I'm not sure what it means really.

I keeep reading about it here and there but no clue whats the deal...what I did is went to a server that only allows pistol and knife...is there somthing wrong with that? please enlight me.

everyone knows me here I aint a big fan of hakers or hacking and I play clean.

Yeah, but at least the speed limit is posted, there's no link to the ROE in-game. That would solve all the problems of people "not knowing".
