Point Blank 1 shot kill with PKM

Last night I was absoloutley gob smacked when someone at point blank range went prone right at my feet and with 1 shot I died when I had full armour. I checked the text from my death and saw that I was shot with a PKM. Is this even possible? The guy literally came round the corner dived at my feet and fired. dead. Now I have the greatest of trouble diving prone aiming at someones head and firing with any weapon let alone a PKM.

Is this a really good player or a cheat of some kind?

Headshots from powerful guns can leave a sting :). Too bad you can't tell it was an HS like CS.

headshots from most guns can kill.

I think this link may help. I've been too lazy to try it myself but you can generate alot more useful information in your game with these localization files.

EDIT: Oh yeah, did the guy shoot just one shot and kill you or was it a random spray? Gotta keep your fingers on A, D to avoid those headshots :). All it takes is a split second for the average FPS gamer to aim and boom headshot someone.

PKM is a beast, a headshot will kill before you know whats going on.

well he siad that he had full armor so that would be like 4 shots to kill

its possible that he could be hacking, but maybe that one shot was really 4 shots since sometimes ppl who dont look like theyre shooting but tehy are and u can shoot while going prone..so in that time he couldve pulled off 4 shots which doesnt take that long

It takes less damage to kill w/ headshots

Well I only heard one and it happend so fast maybe it was just the first shot that got me. I just can not get my head round how he ran round a corner, saw someone was standing there, went prone, aim at the head and firing all in under a second or two. He was close enough when he went prone to lick the mud off my boots. Instead he ends up bathing in my blood.

PS this guy also head a kill score of 33 and a death score of 3.

Oh and please do not think I am moaning, you see I die alot and am used to it :)

1 shot kills happen alot to me i dont think it is a cheat more like a bug type thing:cry:

I have had 1 shot kills against me with a pistol:hmm:
