Re: An Accuracy discussion
There's plenty of things that are inaccurate about the stats in this game besides just the accuracy. For example:
If I tag along with a really good medic, and during the course of a round I get 10 kills but get killed 20 times and revived by the medic 20 times, my K/D ratio is 10/0 for that round when in reality I sucked and should have had a K/D ratio of .5 --- is that really accurate?
If myself and a teammate both go medic and toss health packs all over the place, but by some chance nobody uses mine does that mean my teamplay sucks because I had no heals?
If I shoot at opponents contantly hitting them, but somehow a teammate always manages to finish them off before I can, and I end up with 0 kills, does that mean I suck?
Or on the flip side, if I'm the guy that shoots the 1 bullet to finish each guy off after my teammates do most of the work, does that mean I'm elite because I get all the kills and 100% accuracy for using just 1 bullet each time?
The stats are nice to look at, but I really wouldn't take them that seriously. I like to check on my K/D ratio and accuracy, but the truth is, they don't mean much other than to myself as a measuring stick for improvement.
