I really think you guys are blowing the whole OMGH4X he has an Aimbot way out of proportion. Punkbuster already takes care of the major hack sites and the hacks that get through tend to be homebrewed. So really, the amount of people who are actually able to write their own hacks are far and few between.

1) pb stops NO hacks ..and they have absolutly no power whatsoever to do anything at all to any hack site (unless maybe if the hack site was hosted by angelfire lol ..even then im sure not)

2) the ammout of people creating hacks, on some level, for online games outnumber the people in the game design industry im sure 2:1 or more

The amount of times I hear people cry 'Hax!' when it's simply they can't aim. I guess it makes them feel better? End of the day I'm reserved to the fact that there will always be cheaters about. Just stop b*tchin' and enjoy the game. Oh and get a real kick out of owning them :)

speculation ..but looking at the ammout of posters in just 1 popular cheating forum ..in a section i know you have to prove and be validated you can code to post in ..theres 7k people lol ..are you thinking theres more than 7k people that had a hand in coding of bf2?

cb4 might very well be a cheater, this "cry of the hackers" to claim that "its not hack you just suck" is the most common and effective statement a cheater can make ..because it absolves him of all guilt in the eyes of admins and players who are usually too stupid to just look for themselves to see the cheat

or hes not a cheat ..and hes just ignorant :}

either way saying that puts a dent in anti-cheater so lay off and +open your eyes

I definitely can't aim very well (except maybe as a sniper, tank, or defib :|:).

I've compared my accuracy (18%) to the top players (21%-25%) and it's about the same, so it's not so much a matter of my accuracy, but one of the ridiculous accuracy created by the aimbots.

When I'm repeatedly getting killed by a few shots in rapid succession - by a gun that's supposed to have some built-in deviation - while I'm running 150 meters away from the shooter isn't skill.

PB and Content Check combined stop a hell of a lot of hacks. This game has not even nearly the amount of hacks available to it as games based on the UT or CS engine. There is a reason there are isn't much (almost none) of available public hacks out for this game, it's because their window of opportunity gets smaller every time a public hack is released.

Do I think PB is the best anticheat out on the market? No, far from it. But where PB is lacking, the games Content Check system fills in the gap (with the exception of Nix servers). With both of them running at one time, the game has some very solid protection.

I'm not sure where you get your info from, but if you have looked around lately, there isn't much of **** out there, and that is a good thing. Face it, not everyone is cheating just because they shot you.

Funny really but I don't go round hax sites so I wouldn't know about the amounts of people signed up to haxing. My grip is that people b*tch so much it ruins the game just as much as the haxors. Please don't say I'm haxing or ignorant either, that's just rude. We've been running servers for yrs thanks and are quite able to deal with cheaters.
