You could also drop a jeep on top of a jet just as it's about to take off. No one would ever see it coming! Well, the guys with crap video cards and no shadows maybe lol.

What would be the coolest and most useful way to use this new feature? It would be hilarious if you could drop an APC or Tank at the carrier. There's nothing the essex can do about that!

Humvee's and Buggies are the only drops, or so I've heard so far.

I'm guessing people will be pricks and drop them on an airstrip, preventing a plane, not on the USMC side, from taking off. Or, at least untill the humvee is moved.

In all seriousness, if it is just jeeps and buggies, it would be great for spec ops and engineers. Why?

1. As spec ops, one of my best weapons is the car bomb. Slap 3 packs of C4 on the front of the fastest, smallest car you can find and make your way towards the enemy main base. (I use 3 because sometimes, if you dont have your front bumper right on the target, you need that extra punch. Besides, what else are you going to use that last, odd pack for?) This way I could hop out of a chopper or plane and have a car bomb on demand, anywhere on the field.

2. Have you ever spawned as a engineer so you can drive some armor in a convoy, only to have the last one grabbed by someone else? Well worry not. Just call for a vehicle drop and follow the armor at a distance. As soon as it takes a hit, dart in on the opposite side of where he is taking fire and save the day while racking up some nice team points.

Two things that I've probibly done in the past, as well as not having any transportation, hopefully the postives of this new feature will outweigh the negatives of it being use for other things non-vehical like.

-__-... when i fly airplanes.. for some reason i tend to fly @ the same altitude UAV/Supplies appear, bout 4 times now.. that i crashed onto UAV(1) & 3 times has a crate that just spawned up there killed me.. @_@

here is an excerpt i made in another thread about this subject:
