After seeing the post about AFK commanders and the countless other posts about being TK'd for a jet or vehicle etc., if a player gets "X" punishes in "N" days, they should be busted a rank or stripe for conduct unbecoming. To many AFK boots in a period of time would be dereliction of duty. Methinks that folks would a tad more careful with the TKs when they lose a rank.

No offense but thats a terrible idea, I would lose 30 thousand points if I happened to be getting a bit unlucky....
I can't tell you how many TKs I get from being rammed by another chopper or friendly jet and then I get credited for the tks....so no...bad idea sorry.Comment

NO! You should not pay attention to the amount of punishes. Everyone throws a grenade the wrong way causing it to bounce back one in a while. Or idiots standing in front of your jet, or.. well, you name it.
Although the AFK demotion would be a good feature!
Very high TK-counts should be punished too.Comment

And on most of the servers I play on it auto punishes you...meaning it doesnt ask the tked player if they want to punish or not.Comment

I had proposed something like this before..
basic idea..
Dereliction of Duty..
for whatever ### tk = loss of 1 rank, award or unlock
Commanders who dont do their job or end up with negative scores
= loss of rank, award or unlock...
incentive for a commander to do a good job because losing rank means him losing the next time he applies to be a commander...Comment

I had to pay 50$ for this game, and then spend a YEAR getting every unlock, and now you want to take them away because of accidents?
This ROE thing is going to your big head very quickly.
I supported the idea of the ROE in the beginning, but your orginization is now overstepping its bounds immensely.Comment

What if the person is booted down to "Private" and still continues the way he does?
Possible solution:
Rank: Shoe Shine Boy. Armed only with spit and a towel. Let's see how fun that is, trying to tk a fellow teamplayer with his dirty towel.

I've always wanted to see a "Smack tard" Setting that admins could do to players. Basically if a Player was "Voted" or an admin made them a "Smack Tard" This is what would happen.
1) Griefer gets a symbol over his head and on the minimap indicating that he is a smack tard.
2) Griefer's weapons no longer register any damage.
3) Griefer's right to TK punish is revoked.
4) The Griefer can not enter any Vehicles
5) Any TK's done to the above mentioned Griefer would have no negative effect on the rest of the server's players. (IE: Any TK done on a Smacktard does not negativly effect the TKing player at all.)
6) IF the player leaves the server and rejoins that same server, his smacktard status is returned to him. There could even be a Perma-Smacktard list for servers.
Now what do smacktards love to do? They love to ruin people's games. Being kicked or banned are of no concenquence to the player. If they were worried about their stats or ban records, they wouldn't be a griefer. So why not create a system to ruin their games the way they enjoy ruining ours.
Lets say someone is griefing a server. The admin Sets the Griefer in "Smacktard mode" Now all this player can do is walk around, nothing else. So lets say this player has been griefing his team for the better part of a round, now its time for the Honest players Revenge. The Honest players can feel free to kill the griefer as much as they want, without worrying about being punished or getting Negative points. They can proceed to ruin this players game, and give the griefer a taste of his own medicine.
Now lets say that the player has been Placed on "Perma-Smacktard" status. Every time he joins that server, he is imediatly labeled a smacktard. This server is now ruined for the player, and instead of making him laugh by simply banning him, you agrivated him to no end, and hopefully ruined the BF series for the griefer in question.Comment
