With the recent auctions of accounts on eBay, I have become interested in selling my own account for $

The account is only the account name and password, nothing to do with cd key or anything right?

Each BF2 account belongs to EA/Gamespy, and therefore cannot be sold.

All accounts sold thus far have had their stats reset!

who do you report a selling of an account to then?
i know a couple of people that have had there stats wiped an brought new accounts.

What if you didn't post the name of your account in the auction and only told the name to the top bidder? That would mean the transaction was almost secret, and probably the only way for EA to find out is if they bought the account themselves.

EA constantly check places like ebay for BF2 accounts, they warn the sellers by firts contacting threm asking them to retract the sale, if they do not then they wipe them.

But as i said, if the seller doesn't mention his account name, how would EA find out and wipe his stats.
