WHy is it this site always kills the threads I writhe that are to long?

oh so stupid

1. helicopter spinning on one axis and nailing me in a opponents helicopter with tv guided missles at random.
2. Squad bug where you get stuck in a squad and can't spawn off squad leader or leave the squad?
3. Random kills with crap that is no where near me. Why if these are known cheats is no one doing anything?

Considering buying the expansion packs just for the guns.....anyone have other ideas to accomplish the task at hand?

do you have it copied and on notepad somewhere?

i always do that when posts go real long - in case i hit submit and an error occurs - i got it backed up in notepad

also - so forums have character limits. try breaking it up into 2 posts

if it won't let you post twice - just edit your first with the beginning, then below me with the end. Then i'll edit mine to say "read below" to be polite.

1. people line you up and switch to the second position an use the missile. since there is no longer a pilot, the heli spins, but the missile has a camera on the front, not on the helicopter. Kill happens, and the pilot switches back to the pilot position.

if you leave a heli, it just spins. it's the defualt behavior of a chopper with no pilot. Below 50m or so, the heli will drop (to land), but above that, it spins.

2. It's a wierd bug that is only fixed by the server being restarted. Maybe even a windows thing; as i've never seen it on a linux server

3. just because you can't see the guy that killed you, doesn't always mean he's hacking

lol....yeah i am sorry about that just forgot you have to re login to post a thread so I ended up erasing my thread cause I am stupid. Sorry.

Guys have really gotten that good at choppers where they can hop in and out and still get kills ....man I thought I had no life.

yea, solo TVers are one of teh groups of people destroying the teamwork emphasis in this game unfortunatley.

yeah ok I get that the tv helo is a possibility ....but what is up with the squad bug thing...... everyone started joining and leaving my squad.....but I could not ......is it really a bug or is it a cheat?

Actually, solo choppering is pretty easy. And when you cannot find a gunner, what else are you gonna do??

with regards to point 3., i have a habit of firing a few shots in the direction of the enemy even though i can't see them. I got a few lucky kills by doing so.:p

1. Quite easy, no hack or exploit, common.

2. If you can't spawn on him then your leader is either , or in a transport with no room, or on a ladder, etc, if you can't leave squad, then thats a seperate bug, server restart is a good option.

3. What kind of random s? C4 can kill you from anywhere if it was there before, even on vehicles, AA can hit things from across map...snipers have long range so it depends on what you are talking about.

Actually, nothing is ruining teamplay in this game, the teams that use the most teamwork already win 90% of time.

Its idiot gunners that make it so its more profitable to go solo tv than it is to line up your gunner for a tv kill and have him blast the cannon at a turtle off on the beach...

alright I explain exactly what I am talking about with the squad bug.
I joined a squad ....my squadleader left.....then came back .....changed the name of the squad....to helli jump..... let everyone know on the team that my squad was the heli jump squad.... then I looked to leave the squad ....could not.......died....tried to spawn off squadleader.....did not get any red circle around him that would indicate i was unable to spawn on him.... what else?

then waited ....told admin I thought they were cheating.... was asked what my problem was ....tried to explain....round over..... I left.

Was not the first time it happened to me.

The one bug that annoys me the most;

When one team (usually MEC I find..) cannot make or join squads.. as if they are locked. I've had it happen twice now.

I have seen that about 8 or 9 times already, hopefully they would fix it but we all know dice by now.
