how do you fly??

Just wondering how everyone controls their aircraft in game either with a stick, keyboard or like me with a mouse. I find the mouse really accurate an its esp good in a jet as so far its got me 7000+ kills with 1000 or so deaths. What does everyone think is the best form of controller to use??

very carefully...

I use joystick. In my mind, it's the only way to go. Not using a joystick is kind of like using a mouse to control an actual human being...lol

I am very comfortable with the stick b/c of previous flight sim experience, but I can see that some people may get used to keys and meeces, but I don't think there are any benefits in using them. For example, flying with the keyboard; isn't there a certain amount of keys you can press at once? so if you wanted to turn, pull up, accelerate, and drop a flare at the same time, you may not be able to because the keyboard doesn't allow that many commands at one time.

I as well use a joystick... but i have found hella people that dont use one and they are very good at the heli and planes... its crazy

lol. and people with mice...that doesn't even seem intuitive or practical to me. Sometimes you need to pull up for 5 seconds...with a mouse you have to go down, pick up the mouse, move your hand towards the back of your desk, then go down again and repeat as needed. That's crazay!

Joystick = Absolute Advantage in manuevering, IMO.
I use keyboard/mouse and get 'outpulled' many times.

Using the keyboard and only in single-player so far....I'd just **** people off in multi-player (crashing and so on...). Gonna get a joystick though

I fly particularly well after a tank shell hits me....... I mostly enjoy the spinning airborne corpse manoeuvre, it's a speciality ......

(sorry too much time on my hands, and I can't get the hang of those goddam jets)

I tend to flap my arms realllllllll fast, then jump of my roof. Apparently I suck at it though. Doctor says i got 4 more months with these casts.

Mouse and keyboard, with Very high sensitivity setting, it was a bit twitchy to begin with but i find it better then a joystick for strafing runs with the cannon as its more responsive.

just to add i can fly well with a joystick also, and do in most other games where you fly, i just prefer mouse and keyboard with BF2

Saitek joystick.

I've seen some peeps pull off some nice stunts with kb/kb and/or kb/mouse, but I personally can pull off some crazy stunts with my joystick that I've yet to see anyone without a joystick pull off.
