What if they had a map with a cargo plane that took off every now and then and flew over all the bases. You would hop in then when the plane flew over the place you wanted to go to you jumped out.
I sort of wished that the plane in Night Flight took off every now and then.

I just hope it sort of randomly switches between light and heavy jeeps.
One minute a DPV, another minute a humvee.

I wonder if you can drop humvees on top of buildings and stuff? seems like it would open up a huge can of worms as far as spawn raping goes.

Nothing a good placed L96 round couldn't handle.

I've been artied in a jet

hit by supply crates
hit by UAV
hit by flying over firing arty cannons
hit by bits of destroyed jet bouncing off trees and slamming into my cockpit
hit by random empty choppers flying at 600 feet up
hit by falling/parachuting players
hit by a flashbang and then slammed into a tree

So I guess it wont take long untill one of these jeeps suddenly falls in front of my jet

i think they should add (in the maps with airfields), a transport plane, that can fit ,like, 10 ppl in the back, or maybe 5 ppl and a vehicle. it would be sweet. u could fly around paradropping ppl everywhere

If I remember rightly, didn't BF:V have a helicopter on the NVA side which could be used as a spawn point!?!?

think about it, you bailed from a burning chopper in the middle of nowhere, you consider suicide to spawn closer to the action, because it takes ages to walk... and all of a sudden a humvee comes down in a shute from the sky, manufactured recently, never been used, clean seats, no rust, the keys plugged in, it smells nice, new tires and all... doesnt this make you all happy ?

This has already been done in a game. And a battlefield game, no less - Battlefield Vietnam.

think about it, you bailed from a burning chopper in the middle of nowhere, you consider suicide to spawn closer to the action, because it takes ages to walk... and all of a sudden a humvee comes down in a shute from the sky, manufactured recently, never been used, clean seats, no rust, the keys plugged in, it smells nice, new tires and all... doesnt this make you all happy ?

The maps aren't that big that you would ned an extra vehicle like that. It's a game, rust or not, clean seats or not, etc. etc. etc. does not botherme one bit. I think this is kind of retarded TBO

I dunno about a helicopter, but there was that bigass boat with the helipad that could be used as a spawn point.

Well in ET Quake Wars vehicles don't spawn they get dropped off from aircraft so thats a game that you might be interested in.
