think about it, you bailed from a burning chopper in the middle of nowhere, you consider suicide to spawn closer to the action, because it takes ages to walk... and all of a sudden a humvee comes down in a shute from the sky, manufactured recently, never been used, clean seats, no rust, the keys plugged in, it smells nice, new tires and all... doesnt this make you all happy ?
would be cool if you can actually have someone piloting the carrier that drops them, rather than just having commander point and click it. you could also have para-troopers inside as well that can drop out.....maybe make the plane a spawn point when its in the air.
Personally i think it is a good idea on some fronts, but on the other hand i think it will also introduce new bugs and grant access to areas on maps knows as exploits through dropping humvees in percific positions, i can see it happening already.
what about MEC and PLA? Will they get vodnik and Jeep (I don't know know what the PLA vehicles are called. never payed much attention) drops? Or would it be US only cause only the US could pull off a stunt like dropping a hummvee?
Well you drop humvees not players, so I cant see the exploit thing happening really, except on a carrier, but thats not really an exploit cuz you cant do anything with it.
I think the idea is great ! I want humvees to fall down.
........actually having somebody to fly in the stuff with the choppers. Every time something is killed or assisted with something you dropped you should get a special ability point. Then you could add a medal and a ribbon for this type of progress.
But still the humvee drop will be a great addon no matter what.
