stat wipes for pistol/knife an infantry servers

hi guys how many of you actually bother to look what server your in when bf2 auto puts you in a server at the start.
ive been put in a pistol an infantry server 2 times now,
now what im wondering is whos fault is it?
being put in to these servers could resualt in a stat reset.

If you don't mind, I have a question I'd like to ask.

Clan I'm in - have decided to run a Kark-no armor map once in a while. I'm not too happy about that - as far as I know, it is against the rules, could this result in getting my stats reset if worst comes to worst?

And it's an all day kark, no armor.

Just because you're in a knife/pistol server doesn't automatically mean your stats are reset.

Firstly, you need someone to actually report you. And if they did EA would have a good look through your stats before doing anything.

I doubt they would reset your stats, but they may take away your servers 'ranked' status.

Im pretty sure they wont reset your stats just for being in server, but they will look at your stats and if there's padding them you get erased.

The major problem is that the server will either get shutdown or will loose their ranked rights. But EA doesnt like doing this cause they loose moneh...

Yeah. I was in some stupid server the other day that was called knife/pistol only but no one was using knifes or pistols so I stayed (I only joined in the first place because I was at work and it was the only server with a decent ping). As long as you are playing the game the way it is meant to be played, I don't think you have to worry.

I was actually funny because I was using C4 car bombs and one of the guy on the server tried to kick me. I asked why and he said that the "server rules" were, no genades, mines, C4, helicopters or missles. Want to guess what he was driving? I told him that I wasn't going to follow his rules because it was just to let him be an invicible tank whore and was against the ROE. His kick attempts failed twice. Then he starts screaming some vulgar stuff so I said I was going to take a screen shot and report everyone in there for stat padding/ROE violations. The server cleared out in about 1 minute and I laughed at the guy and his stupid empty server.

BTW, I know it is not wise to admit that you have played on an illegal server but:
1. I don't stat pad no matter what server I am on
2. I could care less about my stats. Getting them reset would actually be doing me a favor as it is the only way I am ever going to get my K/D ratio up or the war college ribbon.

The most likely outcome is that your server will be "unranked" for that ROE violation if you are reported, BUT theres always a chance you *could* get your stats reset if caught in there as well. Its not very likely but you have no-one to blame but youself if it happens

dont use the "play BF2 online now" icon, it automatically puts u in some random server, and takes a bajillion hours to do.....

use the "play BF2" icon, it wont search for a random server to put you on, you can search yoursel, and takes alot less time, and u dont have to risk going on 'iffy' servers

Is it like Statpadding? That's how I got my BPistol, though I think I could do it in a reg server now. And got my BEngineer by accident that way

And the people who play on thse servers won't report you coz they want to play there too... unless your talking of admins going there?
