Re: Confirmed: Cheat e-mail from BF2RS is a hoax

Can anybody confirm then weather this supposed aimbot is real ?

Not trying to start a flamewar here but I just saw some random noob who normally gets pwned every day headshot 3 guys in about 2 seconds multiple times.

And he was actually spamming the chat and saying things like haha you guys suck.

This looked awfully suspicious to me.

      It's real.
It won't last, but it works right now. Of the video's contained in the e-mail, only the first couple actually show the current aimbot. The others (that don't have the red + in the sight have already been neutralized by PB.

PB screenshots will still bust people using it tho. Best thing for admins to do is to take PBSSs of players they think might be botting. One report with that info is all it takes to get PBHWbanned.

Here is what is being said by MSX, these are directly from their forums:

thats funny as ****. All of them posting about f*ck this and that, and the one guy who says that he used mist....they completely ignored him...lol. What as*es! And the majority think its a hoax, that Mist is not PB proof, the vids were done in SP, and that Nitro is still the uber h4x0r. Its the same thing that is on every forum, all the time. Now thats advertising!!!

haha thats funny, every second thread is about this on bf2s.where did you guys get the emails from? or how did you choose who to send them to?
me and nitro broke into their server farm.

With the chams on aimbot off its easy enough, turning aimbot ON just takes the **** lolololol

Kinda sucks, with this much exposure pb will be forced to act/subscribe; when they can't beat you with sweeps they also like to do ghey things like ban on process names, window tiles; so time to make those random.

Our biggest chance to be "uncatchable" still revolves around pb's inability to get a copy of the hack.. thats gone now for sure.

Although the stream system is infact cool and helps hide the actual code from being written out to a working exe; it makes it hard for people to avoid being banned by "mist" being detected, mist is a loader not the hack. Mist does not change, the hack changes all the time, beta anyway.

0.02 personaly i think we are hosed now. I do have faith in sheep and maz to keep us safe although, I guess we will see.

ps my hw spoofer crashes hard on nforce4

Heh they cant close us down anyway due to a crafty user agreement.

Ontop of that, If they are found subscribing then they are breaking the user agreement and we have grounds to sue.

Personally, I don't care what people do inside the virtual world of Battlefield 2. They can hack, stat pad, grief, whatever all they want for all I care. I only ever play on one server anymore and I have yet to see anyone using this hack- or encounter anyone I truly thought was hacking.

What I do have a problem with, however, is that someone out there thinks that they can get away with spoofing a reputable person's email address and spamming thousands of Battlefield 2 players.

And to answer a previous question, no, I have not found any "real" email address at powweb.com that I could email this complaint to. I did file a complaint through their "Contact Us" form, though. They do have a Live Chat applet that some of you might be interested in...
