Got mine on Warlord in 1.2, we had one Palace flag and the enemy had the other. Claymores galore!

I suggest you pair up with another one or two people to help you get this.

1. being a support and 2. being a medic.

A.Sniper using claymores on Sharqi, Warlord, or Karkand, or Mashpotato City

B. Engineer using mines on vehicle heavy maps w/o jets (Songua Stalement for example)

C. Spec Ops and the ALLA AKBAR JIHAD BOM!! buggys or atvs :p


I got my vet and expert during patch version 1.20 on Sharqi w/Clays, but I had two guys helping me, and 5 claymores at a time to do it with. :evil:
Those USA guys were attacking the TV like CraZy, and they actually took it back once for a few seconds and then we took it again.

Hell ya, that is really nice, a sniper getting MVP for a round! Your are 100% right though, it is always best to get the explosives badge when you have some support around chucking ammo bags. I got my Vet pre-1.2 because I had generous support people around (on both teams). There is something unsettling though now about asking for help...because you know someone is going to cry padding..."their padding because they are working as a team!"

But I have already gone off in other threads about padding accusations, so I will not cover that here.

Great advise though. I know it will be a blast for a few weeks trying to get it. Always great to have a new challenge in the game.

Is it true that with the new 1.21 or 1.22 patch, you can only have 2 claymores deployed at one time? If you have 2 claymores deployed, the older ones will disappear very quickly?

This badge was difficult to get before 1.2, but now it seems nearly impossible. When I got mine, I didn't c4 chuck, but it certainly helped to be able to throw the c4 that extra distance by jumping. Anyone who gets this badge post-1.2 is truely an expert.

I got expert in 7th December... when was the 1.2 patch released? Am I an expert or not?

Well, I have had four out at one time after 1.22, I think the first two that were laid went inactive after I laid the second two, though the first two did not disappear.

Hope that made sense.

I play specops mostly, and I have well over a thousand C4 kills, but I still only have my basic. Doubt I'll have expert without devoting waaay too much time.

got mine about a month ago...on sharqi, played mec, took the tv station and held it with claymores...you are going to need help as mentioned above...it's probably the most difficult badge to get and impossible without supporting squadmates...the fact that you can only have 2 claymores out now just makes it more challenging, but also more exciting...between myself and another clanmate we had several rounds where we were within 1 kill, damn that was frustrating, but it felt even better when we got it :P

I missed out on mine by 3 kills the other night, i was gutted lol ..., but i was ONLY using AT-Mines!!.., i really pi$$d a lot of armour whores off, infact some of them called for me to be kicked!

It seems that it could be easier to do a bit of kit switching between at-mines/claymores/c4 to get this badge? anyone confirm this?
