Ok so this happened to me TWICE last night and several times as well in the past week or so. I usually play 64 player servers but have been frequenting some smaller maps to switch it up a bit.

I work hard the whole round playing selfless BF2, switching kits as needed and being a good squad member as always. It gets to like 8 or 10 points left for the opposing team AND THE STINKING SERVER SWITCHES ME TO THE OTHER FREAKIN TEAM.

Bang. No double points for the win. 45 minutes of hard driving teamwork down the drain.

This SUCKS. I understand that it is an attempt to keep the action balanced, but getting screwed out of hard earned points like that after playing a full round is lame.

only the winning commander gets double points for win lol

1) Only commanders get double points. 2) Commanders won't get switched (that I know of) so therefore, the only thing you had to lose was the round.

It does suck to get a loss, but I think you'll be ok.

happens to me all the time. it's part of the game, though. keeps things balanced. however, when i do get switched it's usually to the losing team. i like to win sometimes, he he.

lol yeah it's frustrating when your giving the other team a hammering, with AT rockets, C4, moving down their infantry and then your switched and all the hard work you just did blows back in your face lol

getting switched usually happens cause some people think if you leave the game before the round ends you wont get a loss on your record makeing the loosing team minus players and auto balance grabs honest players and sends them over...kinda senseless because as i understand it if ur in a game for more than 5 mins your on the stats board and get the loss so why leave?

Why would anybody want to have a bunch of wins anyway. It just means you're usually on the good team and can't stand a challenge. My win/loss ratio is .8 or less.

I think autobalance should be based on rank/stats somehow, so that teams are more even. Right now it feels very......random, alot of the time i see a team full or privates vs 1st Sgt's and above. Where's the balance in that? Sure rank isn't really a true way of showing how good someone is but it's a whole lot better than a random pick to switch teams...

WRONG. Commanders DO et switched. I knwo it's not the point, but the bug is still there, I get switched as commander maybe 1 out of 10-15 times I play.

Is that true? Ha ha I'm a dumbass then. Guess it shows how much I pay attention to points and stats. It still sucks to be moved to a crappy team though, if you find a good squad and work well with them.

I think only lone wolfs should be switched, not comanders or those in a squad.

It happen to me and I knew where the snipers were hiding and boom. It really is not fair.

I will concede because I do not know much about commanding and the rules and processes. However, I thought that it wasn't possible for a commander to get switched since a certain patch was released. I am sure that it has been possible in previous patches though.
