LCD/BF2 Question

What refresh rates do you others run your LCD at? Everything I can get my hands on states very clearly that refresh rates on LCD don't matter, but I wanted some input. I ask because the optimal on mine is 60hz stated by Samsung. Monitor: Samsung 930BF 19" Native 1280x1024 connected VIA DVI, w. Radeon X1900XTX on the other end.

Could you also list the size of the monitor and resolution please.

Same here... 75 hz. I dont really notice a diffrence on 60 though.

Run BF2 on your monitors native resolution and refresh rate. I hear that if you alter it you get some ugly shosting and the like. As long as it has a super fast response time like less than 12ms you should be in good shape. If it is more than that it may look foggy and weird.

Samsung SyncMaster 710N... I run at 1280*1024@60Hz through VGA connector.

I can change it in game with the remote. Doesn't really matter what its set at. Game seems to play about the same.

Can handle all settings on high including resolution. Works great.

I use the LG 1970HR (ID: L1970HR) @ 1280x1024 @ 75hz.
It has 2ms response time as well, so no ghosting or any weird stuff @ all.

LCD's don't refresh like CRT's so it dont really matter...but i set mine to the max anyway 1280x1024@75

I've been told that CRT's are ALWAYS better for gaming. But my LCD is workin primo. No complaints at all. Great investment.

The LCD's/wireless mice bad for gaming argument seems to come from people who haven't used an LCD/wireless mouse in 3 years. They've come a long way and are just as good, if not better than CRT/wired mice.

Samsung 930B - 1280x1024 @ 60hz through DVI - works perfect for all fps.

How the hell do you guys get it up to 75hz?? 60hz is the only option for me.
