Re: The AT kit is not so useless after all....

The Jackhammer is an awesome gun no doubt. But usually I take the DAO out for "meat-grinding" One thing I like to do is if I gun someone down with 2-3 shots. I'll reload it so I keep it topped off. Plus the armor helps when rushing. Almost nothing can take an AT head-on at close range. Sometimes I use AT just for the DAO and forget about the AT.

Only annoying thing is not having a nade or two but it's balanced.

I agree with the ticket thing though....problem was no medics at all on the team. I could've made one medic get almost 100 points reviving me alone.
Yeah... thats the thing, I find that as AT- you should be a part of a squad. AT would appear more as a support role with a specialist task of taking down armour and vehicles. The medic would be there to keep you intact while the armour is trying to chip away at you, and the Support of your squad would keep you stocked with rockets. Other than that, if you also have a SpecOps on your squad- he can flank the tank as you engage with the enemy- and finish any armoured threats off.

Assault could also give you cover with smoke grenades- if not, flashbangs.

I'd never go lonewolf as AT, too easy a target, and not enough stamina to out-run the average pursuer.

I have to disagree, i like the MK3A1 as well on karkand where i also go engineer to keep the armour out of the spawns, BUT to me its just a lesser version of the DAO-12, only 7 shots compared to 12.

You can shoot the DAO-12 just as fast as full-auto with practice and fast finger-work and if you constantly "top-up" the shells between shots you have a very quick reload, if you need to interupt the reload process you can just swop between weapons and be ready to fire again in a fraction of a second.

True if you let it completly run dry then its a slow reload but with practice it should never happen, the other bonus is the AT missile for killing snipers and distant targets

Oh yeah i play AT class 90% of the time, better as a squad member but i do quite well as lone wolf as well, using a jeep to get "up close and personal" is very effective. Congrats on the score BTW the AT class is very underated, i fell in love with the DAO-12 staright after unlocking it and can't understand why more people dont play it.

Yah I hate the AT kit also(bro loves it, I don't know). Unfortunately, On 24/7 Karkand I think it was straifright.com, they changed the server number to 64 and so everyone whored on the armor. One of the things mentioned was creat aquads with a name other than the default. SO we had a Tactics squad which used AT and Engineer kits. The only 2 people I remember were STEALTHKIT and Xplod... who are really great to play with. We didn't loose as badly that round, lol
