Only the default (TGN Light) theme for now. Dark them is also coming back soon. Then CSN. Then Wrestlin' Nation. A lot of WIP stuff right now. There are a couple of things still not working either. Sorry.
You set one key. or most people like to put it on their mouse. To do everything. Hit all the buttons at once, but having it bound to just one key. Doing this would eliminate all delays that are built in. including lag.
Like take the nice logitech 510. it can be done so that middle button(not the wheel, the windows one) have that coded to go.
F2 + right click + left click. So its virtually instantly launched at the target. which is a macro and is cheating.
gosh dude, can someone who can also solo back me up please so this guy can shutup already? please. its just annoying now.
A programmable command that overwrites delays basically. Kinda like the counter-strike auto-switch deal where someone would switch from the primary weapon to the secondary weapon in a split second. I have a Logitech G15 where you can record macro's, don't know how to make em, just thought the LCD and the lights looked nice. I have never witnessed anyone using macro's before in a game, but I won't jump on a bandwagon and say this guy is hacking. I just enjoyed the video, hands down, the guy is good with the TV guided missile. That's what the video was supposed to be about anyway. So, I'll go on the record and just say that I enjoyed the movie, and didn't think he's hacking. NICE VIDEO!
now im pretty sure he doesnt have an instant launch macro. but i see absolutely no frames in the chaingun mode.
The one i like the most. its the heli he kills just before the "How the ****" blue screen. he sits in missle mode for a second or more before launching yet no spin at all. which screams of macro.
now stfu and accept the fact that you dont have to cheat to be good. its sad that you think decent players are cheaters.
You see. Ive played with the top guys. Ive played with planewhore and pantywhore and such and they fricken PWN. while i admit that if you put them in a realistic simulator they'd crash and burn 3 seconds before taking off. but they pwn and are what you consider decent/good/pro and id never ever call these people cheaters. Hell ive played in good old counterstrike. at my fav server i was constantly reporting cheaters and 60% would be banned right away. the other 40% they would say. im sorry but that isnt enough proof. but all 40% eventually and quickly got banned. then a group of friends who are legit cal-i clan guys which one of them is an admin. came in and all different names and everything. everyone was calling them hackers because they were crazy good. but i watched them for 1/2 a second and knew they were legit.
but ill stfu though. because im through with this hacker.

finally. just drop it. just stfu already. and u call me a hacker cause u problably havent mastered how to do it right. u dont need macros, really u dont. its easy and if u practice it, itll be easy for you too. look im sorry for posting such immature **** earlier but really dude, what your saying is ignorant. just cause u havent seen it before doesnt mean its not possible, and im sure someone who can solo will eventually come in here and back me up on this. again sorry for my immaturity, and its flattering that someone is absolutely convinced im hacking even though im not.
if you can see in the video, he shoots the missle before you have time to see it spin.. so it SEEMS like its not spinning (and in some cases you have no landmarks to actually notice it spinning in the first place). However, after he hits the target, the chopper is a good 80-120 degrees another direction, meaning it DID spin..
Hes just shooting Immediatly after he gets in the gunners seat.. Not waiting for setting up the shot..

wow dude you too? your gonna go by what that guy said? lol. all i gotta say is practice makes perfect. i dont need to cheat to be good. and it makes me laugh how "mr know it all" thinks just cause im pretty decent i gotta be hacking or cheating. i wish you could come to my house or something and just watch me do it(i know it sounds gey) so i can make you look as stupid as you are and stupid as you sound trying to be mr know it all when all your words are pure bs(thats directed at munky). you dont ****, and i would love to see what you have to say about the people i play with who are even better than me.
i thought you were until i watched it again and noticed that you were in fact spinning
i changed my answer right after i posted, note the time of edit. it wasnt too long after i posted that i changed it so just bad luck there

ya lost me.
I've only solo tv'd a few times and i'm ok at it but not experianced enough to know if he's using a "macro" but it did seem a little fast. I'm definatly a good gunner, i can tv the s**t outta anything if you give me a good pilot
Either way the vid was entertaining.
EDIT* Just watched the vid again and it looked pretty legit....lots of practice on throwing the chopper to the left real quick right before the shot...just my $.02
i guess thats just the way it looks on the vid or something...dont really know. what do you mean by "proximity thing"?
Hello mate, i think my question was answered in the next post along from yours. I meant that when the missile gets to a certain distance, it blows up and its closeness to the target means that it still does enough damage for a kill, without actually having to hit the target.
Man there will always be people who will accuse others of hacking/cheating because they aren't as good. Forget them. Nice vid mate, thanks for showing me how it CAN be done!!
Munky, I'm not going to even fricken bother reading your posts. It just gets me mad to see one nooblet go blatantly yelling "HAX" for everything.
God, I don't even feel like typing a response, it's just amazing.
I myself am undeniably a MAJOR user of the solo-Heli tactic, and pretty much on the same level as Naymless (props dude, nice video), and you really just have no idea about what you're talking about.
The switch from pilot to gunner, to TV view can be done in under half a second, There is no delay at all. You need to acquire your target as the PILOT, line up your shot, THEN immedietely Hit F2 and right click simulatenously to switch to TV and pull off the shot. You won't even see the gunner cockpit, It's so fast you'll go from pilot cockpit to TV view just like that.
If you have alot of speed in the helicopter, and diving towards a target as you launch a TV missle off, you'll be surprised to discover that the helicopter does NOT spin. At most, it would nose off to the right a tad.
Switching from pilot to gunner does not warrant an immediate spin, but when it does, the helicopter always spins UPWARDS towards the sky. You'll never hit the ground, and can easily switch back.
Please, don't make any more of a fool of yourself then you already have.
I watched the video. Nice TV Guided missile work. But, I'm standing by my opinion that the fact that you cannot be locked onto when in the gunner seat is a cheap method of making you impervious to S2A and A2A missile lock. Granted, I'd just swoop in from above with my bomb HUD and gun you down, but the jet pilots you took out couldn't gain a lock on you.
And, because these solo chopper pilots are immune to AA, I think EA/Dice should address this in an upcoming patch. As far as I'm concerned, it's a blatant exploit of BF2's game mechanics. The attack choppers have 2 seats for a reason- 1 pilot, 1 gunner. The developers most likely did not intend for them to be flown in this manner. Thus EA/Dice did not develop the AA to lock onto (or other players to even "spot") anyone switching to an alternate seat of an attack chopper (or bomber jet, for that matter).
And finally, you should really fix the text inside your video. You've got singleton letters wrapping down into new lines making the video look like it was done by someone who had no idea what they were doing or what screen size they were working with.

Just my $0.02.
i really dont care about the text. wasnt really my focus.
